Good morning everyone just a little update after receiving pip I got low care ,but since then I’ve had my operation in November 2022 to try and remove my tumour ,fortunately they did removed some but couldn’t remove it all so now I’m having radiotherapy and after that 2 cycles of chemo .
My driving licence as been revoked, and I’m not working too much going on at the moment .
I’ve phoned the Dwp and told them and told them I’ve got changes with my mobility and feel anxious,I won’t go anywhere with someone with me .
And they sent be a review of my previous claim which I only got the care low and said apply for change of circumstance.
I got a text to say they had got, will it take quite a while to hear back .

You could be waiting several months, possibly longer.

Hi @jaffacake I've tried to find out for you, but it's not very clear where you need to send it to. I know your employer needs to give it to you and fill it out themselves.

This page on Gov.uk: How to claim statutory sick pay, might help. Please ask if you're still unsure of anything :)

I thought you said you rang to report changes? If you did then this isn’t a Mandatory Reconsideration. Either way, you will need to ring them to ask.

You will need to send your SSP1 form to ESA. Or you can take it to your local job centre and they will scan it and send it for you.

If you're asking about your ESA payments then it's a weekly benefit paid fortnightly. It will be 2 weeks after your last payment. If you're 25 and over it will be £84.80/week.

When claiming ESA there's a 7 day waiting period before payments start, it's not paid at all during those days. You should receive the decision letter soon and it will give you the details on there, it will also tell you what day of the week to expect your money.

Have you checked entitlement to Universal Credit? The ESA will be deducted in full from any UC entitlement. If you live with a partner you'll need to claim as a couple. If you have savings/capital of more than £16,000 you're excluded from claiming. Use a benefits calculator to check entitlement.

I’ve got a letter today with the payment I will be getting ,then checked my bank at it was only 48.80 .
But further down it said weekly amount 84.80 ,So I don’t know when my payment day is should I phone and ask them .

The £48.80 may be a few days pay to cover the period from fhe day you are entitled to be paid (after the normal waiting period) and your normal payment date.

Should I just wait for payment to go into the bank .
Are could the over payment be later this week .
I get so confused and tired with it all .
I really appreciate all your help .

Just wait for the decision letter and it should give you details of what day of the week to expect payments (likely a Monday) and when to expect your first full payment. My guess is your next payment could be 2 weeks from today, 3rd July.
