Hi if you can help ,last year I got pip in august 2022 ,was low care no care .Was turned down for the mobility .
I have a brain tumour and had surgery in November 2022 ,so we tried to get motorbility as my health with walking wasn’t good anyway applied again and was turned down .So asked to look at my claim again .
unfortunately just stayed the same ,so I wrote to my local mp and she as written a letter for pip .I’ve started a tribual claim and got a letter this morning to say they have been intouch with the tribunal and I should get a letter from the Dwp .0 -

We can only guess what it could mean and i'm afraid you'll need to wait to see if you hear from DWP.

jaffacake said:Does anyone know for the it will be for the appeal ,ive having a paper hearing as I cannot go through the tribunalAre you aware that you can request a telephone hearing? Paper based hearings have a very low success rate of about 5-8%.Telephone/video or appearing in person will give you a 70%+ success rate. They will also prefer to hearing from you in your own words exactly how your conditions affect you.0

It sounds like it may be too late for that possibly.
Do you have anyone who can support you @jaffacake? Someone who can be there for you to help you through a telephone appeal or tribunal?0 -

I disagree, sorry. It's never too late to request a telephone hearing. Just because HMCTS have asked if the claimant has any further evidence to send, doesn't mean they will make a decision soon.

I’m so fed up with the whole system and on assessment phase for new Esa which as been in since 3rd June ,just waiting to see what happens with that .I phoned Wednesday to ask for update and a gentleman said someone had look at my es50 and thrown it out so what happens now .And also at mr stage with pip they haven’t looked since applying I’ve had a brain operation but they couldn’t get it all out so had radiotherapy and having chemotherapy now ,it’s such a stressing time .I don’t work ,I don’t drive ,lost confidence and I don’t go anywhere on my own ,ive sent a letter into pip & tribual from my local mp and several medical and family evidence it’s absolutely schocking the system we all having to go through as anyone else going through this0

I I’ve forgot from having the two bleeds to my brain and having the tumour it’s really affected my right side arm and leg0

I'm so sorry to hear you've been going through so much with your claims @jaffacake
Have you got support from anyone like Citizen's Advice or your MP?
