Are you racyguy with a different username? Racyguy has also mentioned fraud a few times in previous threads...You posted a thread for some help and you were given some advice from a few members, myself and calcotti included. See thread https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/97656/im-new-on-here-a-friend-told-me-to-ask-my-question-looking-for-help#latest

With apologies, as I've made this 'argument' before. No-one is 'entitled' to a benefit, i.e. has a 'right' to get one, e.g. PIP, altho it's classed as a disability benefit, not every disabled person would be awarded; it all depends if you meet the qualifying criteria. However, if you don't try to claim a benefit, then you'll certainly not be awarded.

Sorry to butt in on a different note, but how is 1 person allowed 2 profiles? Seems to be going on alot lately. I was under the impressions we were only allocated 1.
So how is it possible to have 2? Plus why would you want 2?0 -
Hi @Sandy_123 - The majority of people will come on here with one username, but it does happen that a few then choose to have another. Scope don't stop this, & give people the benefit of doubt. Altho it seems alien to most of us, a person can be on here with various usernames. I'm not saying that's the case here, but often some members will see similarities in posts/use of language, etc. so then question; I know I've also done it before.

Please don't make comments like that before you check to see if what you are saying is correct because some people might read it and think it is correct, IT ABSOLUTELY IS NOT CORRECT IN ANY WAY WHATSOEVER
Neither does it ask any questions related to extra expenses because of any disability! So yet again, you are wrong! My daughter has no extra expenses because of her disability because she refuses extra support because of trust issues. This doesn't mean she's not entitled to PIP!
We are entitled to many things but don't receive them all of the COL awards based on receiving a means tested benefit etc.
No you weren't because you weren't claiming any means tested benefits.
Put it another way, if I had claimed the benefit, I would have received the COL payments. Bit of a double-edged sword - claim it, get the COL payments and have another fraud investigation.
Not much of a choice really0 -

Not much of a choice reallySo you are racyguy with a different username. What i don't understand is why you started a thread asking for advice on benefts stating you and your partner only receive a small amount of state pension. There was no mention of your private pensions in that thread. You were even given advice about claiming AA for your husband but racyguy apparently claims PIP.. People can have as many accounts as they want because scope have no rules on this but i just don't understand why. There's people on here that give a huge amount of their time to advise others..1
