It’s nothing to do with postcodes either. I live with my daughter and I had mine today but she hasn’t had hers yet.

I got a text saying the £324 colp will be paid automatically from 8 to 23 November. That was 11:51 pm today ( or yesterday as it's a new day 🙃). Why so late at night sending texts lol. Still no payment though. But as stated on here, it will be paid in due course.

Some bank accounts pay the night before, Santander pays at 9:30pm. Some smaller internet banks can pay even earlier. Lots of people on Facebook are asking people that got the COL what banks they with and which benefit they claiming, it seems pointless to be honest as it seems completely random. Cos I'm on lots of Disability related pages these posts constantly show up on my feed.

I’ve had my COL payment, It went in just after midnight. I’m on PIP & ESA. Last time it went in on the first  day, this payment went in on the second day. I hope everyone gets there’s soon.

I’ve seen some members on this forum and others who have started to receive it. Remember, it’s paid from the 8th so plenty of time to receive it yet.

@poppy123456 just to let you know the text I had saying it would be paid up to the 11th. Was right as it’s showing on my bank pending tomorrow. Don’t know if this is helpful
    god bless.
It's paid up to 23rd November, my sister is with Mondo bank she sees pending payments and gets a day earlier. If the 11th was the last day of payments hers would be showing up as a pending payment on her account today. I don't know where you got that date from but the gov.uk website has updated today, it still says upto 23rd of November for ESA and UC. My boyfriend had a text last night and it also said 8-23th. If you was texted that date then it never came from the Government.

I respect Martin Lewis but he has been wrong regarding payments before

Ada did specifically have a text message from DWP telling her when it will be paid into her bank. She also upsated today and said it's showing in her bank for tomorrow, exactly as the text suggested.

DWP don't text people exact payment dates, I've never heard of that happening to anyone. It's a mass text message sent to most claimants with a link to gov.uk. If they could do that they would have done it for everyone.

I didn't mean to offend you, if you got a text I apologize, but not everyone will get it before the 11th the government Cost Of Living page has been updated today and still says upto 23rd November. I don't want everyone thinking they will also get it on the 11th and getting upset that they have missed the payment.

Well they clearly did text @Ada and i have no reasons not to believe her. She very kindly came back to give an update. Her payment is now showing for tomorrow, which is dated between the dates that was mentioned in the text.

I don't think @KerryBemmy meant anything wrong, as I see they try to be helpful in the community. However, in this instance they're incorrect @Ada as your text confirmed when you would be paid, so it can happen. You both try to help others, so hope you don't fall out.

Lots of people check this thread I didn't want everyone thinking they would also get paid on the 11th and getting upset that they missed the payment. Lots of mentally vulnerable people on this site.im sorry if I upset anyone but wanted to remind people 23rd is still the official end date for COL. So not to panic..It's ok ada I'm leaving this forum permanently now as I seem to be upsetting people. I'm really sorry.
