Hi @KerryBemmy - please hope you reconsider. As mentioned above, I've noticed how much you help.I agree that those eligible will receive payment by the 23rd (& for those eligible tax credit claimants, on no other means-tested benefits, will receive it between 23 and 30 November). It's a very unfortunate occurrence that those who try to give advice can unwittingly upset people (been there myself). I have also on a few occasions got things wrong, tho didn't mean to do so. The important thing is your willingness to help others; sincerely hope you stay.

I got a text off the DWP today saying 8th until 23 is that correct? It seemed legit, it was a link to a gov site0

KerryBemmy said:DWP don't text people exact payment dates, I've never heard of that happening to anyone. It's a mass text message sent to most claimants with a link to gov.uk. If they could do that they would have done it for everyone.0

So I went on Twitter and otther peeps had same text as me with link so it not a fake text for hacking me, maybe the date the benefit people gave me was rite then roll on 16th. If they give proper dates wouldnt have to ring up in 1st place and ask2

Hello everyone,
I can see there was a misunderstanding earlier in the thread, that through discussion, should hopefully now be resolved.

All discussions on Scope’s online community should remain civil, supportive, and safe. For more information, please read our online community house rules.
Thanks to everyone for keeping us up to speed with the COL payment situation.
