Hi @LouiseT and a warm welcome to our online community, how's it going today?

I'm sorry to hear things are rough at the minute for you. Many of our members are waiting on the second cost of living payment too, hopefully it shouldn't be too long a wait. This government webpage outlines the dates you can expect to receive it.

It's hard with the cost of energy isn't it? Scope have a Disability Energy Support service which is free to access and can help with:
    • managing energy and water debt
    • changing your meter
    • energy and water efficiency
    • accessing benefits, grants, and trusts
    • free fuel vouchers (conditions apply)
    • contacting or complaining to your supplier
    • understanding your gas and electricity bills
    • understanding how to use your heating systems
So please do give that a look, and you can register for the service via the link above.

Are you getting support with your MS diagnosis? I hope the health care professionals looking after you have found a treatment plan that's working and things are relatively stable - please do let us know how you are coping. You might find reading our Physical and neurological impairments category useful, or be able to relate to some of our other members' stories in their, so bear that in mind should you fancy a read.

Take care and I hope we can speak again soon.
