Hi and welcome to the community
I'm very similar so get you completely . I've had my leg amputated , blind in one eye and severe impairment in other, peripheral neuropathy in other leg so can't use prosthetic due to lack of feeling and balance issues
Diabetes really is a nasty condition that has a knock on effect in other areas
Hope you enjoy being on here0 -
Hi @pixieboots68
I'm so sorry to hear you are struggling. I wanted to comment to say that we have a Benefits and Financial Support section, if you have any questions or queries. We also have more specific categories such as PIP, DLA & AA, Employment Support Allowance and Universal Credit. If you are not comfortable with sharing yet, there are many threads with many questions and answers, maybe someone has already answered the ones you have?
But please, we'd love to get to know you, what your likes and dislikes are, do you have any hobbies? and we chat about all that in our Coffee Lounge0 -
Hello @pixieboots68. Welcome to Scope’s forum. It is great to see you have joined us. How are you at the moment?
I can hear you are particularly struggling with benefits. Thanks for finding the courage to share that with us. Is there anything, in particular, about benefits you are struggling with at the moment?
We are here for you and listening to you if you would like to share more with us. Please don’t hesitate to let us know if we can do anything to support you, we are all here for you and listening to you
