Hi, is this for PIP? If so, I have mine on Tuesday. Have you got any advice?0
-
We've heard from other people that it can fly by @candyheart! How did you find it?0
-
I just told it how it is honest on every question the lady was very easy to talk to really it’s me that struggle’s talking but she seemed to make the whole process seem like 10 minutes mind you I’ve read some horror stories here so I guess I’m living in hope. I haven’t had any feedback of the receiving report yet .

I'm glad your assessor was easy to talk to @Candyheart that sounds really positive
The wait can be a long one, so for now try to focus on other things, things you enjoy or perhaps people you enjoy spending time with. You're welcome to hang out on the community if it helps pass the time too.
We'll be here to support you whatever the outcome of your assessment, so please reach out whenever you need to, and we'll do what we can to help!1 -
It sounds positive that you just told it how it is, were honest on every question and the lady was very easy to talk to @Candyheart.
I am wishing you the best of luck with this. Please don't hesitate to let us know how it goes and if you need any support0 -
Just a update text received 7 days after telephone assessment to say the report has been sent waiting on decision1
-
@CountryMimi how did you find your assessment on Tuesday1
-
Thanks for the update @candyheart How are you getting on this weekend?0
-
Hi @Candyheart
I think it went OK, though the phone cut off twice as the charger on the other end was faulty, so her phone kept going off 🙈.
I am trying not to dwell on it too much, as I'm not completely convinced I'll get anything.
On the other hand, I did receive my blue badge in the post this morning after an already failed attempt. So there's some good news!
How are you doing?1 -
@CountryMimi fingers crossed for you this pip seems like Russian roulette
thats Good news about your blue badge though. Keep in touch il post update when I hear something0 -
@Candyheart bless you, I hope it works out for you too 🧡0

Good luck @Candyheart. I am wishing you the best of luck with things.
In the meantime, please don't hesitate to let us know if we can do anything to support you. We are all here for you and listening to you1 -

@L_Volunteer
well after reading many stories about texts arriving at 8 04 am
this morning my phone pinged 8 04 am I thought oh well here’s the message it was flaming EE hi there your bill is overdue talk about roller coaster ride 😂😂😂0 -
It can take anything up to 12 weeks from when the report was returned to DWP so you may not get the decision until after Xmas now.

@poppy123456 I know poppy I was just making light hearted humour with the text being 8 04 am0
-
@Candyheart oh gosh 😂😂😂 to be honest, I've just tried to put it to the back of my mind as I'm not convinced at all I'm going to be awarded anything0
-
@CountryMimi. Me either I was on low rate care but change of circumstances was the reason to apply of course you have to start from the beginning so I don’t hold out much hope but still waiting0

@candyheart it's rubbish isn't it. Like other people have said, I'm aware of people who shouldn't even be claiming for it. I don't know these people, but I've heard stories and it just makes me angry that they can't be bothered to go and work.
Sorry, I'm just feeling more riled up now as I've just seen that the room leader has kicked me out of our work room chat - haven't even left yet! Not trying to big myself up here, but I went above and beyond for her, picking her up on way to work and taking her home when she was poorly, messaging her to see if I could help in any way, as well as staying pretty much 20 minutes every single night after our shifts ended to set up for the following day and in the 6 months that I've needed that support, I've heard nothing from her or the deputy room leader.
Sorry, I'm done now 😫😫😫🙈0 -

Invisible conditions certainly do exist.I find it very easy to put that smile on my face and let others see that everything is just perfect when in reality it’s far from it. We shouldn’t compare others to ourselves.3
