Glad to hear you have a date for it now @rebel11, the end is in sight!  How're you feeling about it?

I did an Appeal Hearing for someone, they won their Appeal, so I know what to expect, I just really need to prepare well, the 'biggie' is, how tired am I going to be on the day. I have 3 Auto Immune conditions.  In football terminology I'm going into the Appeal Hearing 1 - 0 down.

Update - I had a to take a 'rain check', so waiting for another date, the Chair was happy to do that.

Had the Hearing yesterday, was more 'difficult' then I thought it would be. The phone connection got lost halfway through, after I asked for a 'break'. I held on saying 'hello, hello, hello'. Received email this morning saying they've sent a letter.

If you’ve been able to track it online you should be able to log in and see what the decision was as lots of members have reported being able to do that.

    Hi Poppy

    I hope you are well.
Unfortunately, I haven't followed it online, I'll just wait, see what materializes
over the next few days. Will update when I get the letter.

O.K. tried signing in, it says 'please try later', tried later, it says 'please try later', so I guess I'll try to sign in 'later' then 'later'.

Hey @rebel11 sorry to hear you've been having a hard time logging in.  It can happen with the DWP site.  Hopefully you'll get a letter from them soon with an update!

Thanks, it's disappointing. Probably just needs to be 'reset' with the help of the help desk. I'll just wait for the letter.

Couldn't have done it without your advice, I've got my challenges with the DWP, assessment etc, but it was best to put them aside and concentrate on the claim. Many thanks.

Aww you're very welcome! I'm glad I was able to advise and it helped. There's nothing better than a successful outcome after all the advice I gave. Many thanks to you too, for such kind and thoughtful words!

Now, don't forget to treat yourself to something nice when you receive the money that's owed because after all that stress, you deserve it!
