Someone did a job search live on a video on the gov.uk site following criteria.
Part time or full time.
Fully remote working.
Disabled friendly.
There was 8 jobs in the entire country, all skilled.5 -
Nothing more with regards to disabled and sick people and welfare in general. We're done for her.
Wednesday is to announce her damn plan to cut civil service running costs.

Here are a list of Labour mps who support the welfare cuts. This letter was posted on x
3 -
I'm surprised that my MP isn't on the list.
I honestly he would be all for this.
1 -
And I know none of them. It surely is the eager to please newbies.
2 -
your benefit disability advisor might have been wrong, if the following doc did apply back then. According to it, you can work even though you are on ESA:
Thatโs why all this narrative that itโs a binary system, doesnโt apply for people in ESA, and thatโs why the green paper is misleading and therefore unlawful
2 -
It was 15 years ago, but I think they just basically wanted me to sod off and live on my ESA, as indeed I have done! (Via 4 fruitless job searching years).
That's what makes me laugh about the whole thing. I asked for their help and was told to park it, and now, when I am a mobility scooter user with much more advanced Muscular Dystrophy, there may be some sort of drive to get the likes of me back into work. (I was thinking an acrobat or professional gymnast).

pretty good article regarding figures and welfare expenditure as disability expenditure across Europe.Has some info missing, like, I think itโs in Italy or Spain, thereโs a 12% of people of long term ill working age people not able to work.
All this prefabricated narrative by the government just makes wanna puke.
2 -
And I've emailed my disgust to all of them ๐

The Poll Tax hit every adult in the country. Tory MPs couldn't sell it to the electorate. The Cabinet were concerned. Even so, Thatcher was in power for three more years. It took another issue to bring her down without the rest of the Government. Whilst I don't think Reeves, Starmer, and Kendall have thought through the economic impact of the cuts, backbenchers seem untroubled and the general public couldn't give a damn.
4 -
My MP is not on that list, not heard of any of them

Too right, they want those shiny red boxes, and a ministerial car. As they will see it, HMG have the numbers to pass whatever, and so why stick your neck out on principle, and have your cards marked.
Anyone reading this and saying "I would stand on my principles, I know right from wrong" etc. Well, that's why you and I wouldn't be selected to stand! They want good little foot soldiers, all shiny and bright. They need to know their Aye lobby from their No, and the whips will tell you the rest of your duties.
Oh yes, and Joe public won't care a fig about us, they think half of us are scroungers. Just wait until HMG suggest tampering with the OAP triple lock. They'll scream the place down over that little beauty.
2 -
Attacking triple lock would be a Poll Tax moment! It would be WFA on steroids.
I'm fearful on benefit changes for people outside working-age. Will they make DLA and AA tougher to claim? I also wonder whether prescription charges, etc will be payable by all irrespective of age except for those on UC.

The media has asked some very good questions, seen Kendall being asked if she thinks people under 22 cant become ill. Of course she did her usual but at least the question got asked.
2 -
Yeah the poll tax had riots, this is nowhere near the same pressure sadly.
2 -
I can no longer sleep at night due to the anxiety this is causing me. It really does feel like hatred and discrimination. Easy targets always get hit.

(Psalm 37:14): The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.

John McDonnell bless him, he cares deeply and will fight for us. A proper MP

There is no doubt that austerity politics as it have wounded the poor and vulnerable since 2010 is outside the Jewish and Christian tradition.
