Not all are desperate, if they were they would settle in Germany, France they are safe country. They come because the government give them everything, plus freebies, free driving lessons, they get 3 meals a day warm hotels. Councils are over stretch, they said its not safe in the areas.so pensioners, farmers disabled get picked on.before you mention farmers are ok, one of my family knows one who committed suicide because of her inheritance tax. Not all pensioners are well off, my sister and brother in law can't get pension credit because they are slightly over.

All that being as it is, do you think grudging migrants is the way forward? I don't believe that it is. Some of what you have described, it sounds like talking points in the Daily Mail etc.
Do you know that ordinary citizens have to pay 40% Inheritance Tax ( Well, the beneficiaries pay it)? Farmers are being asked to pay 20%, with 10 years to pay.
Many young people who have been to agricultural college, they can't hope to get into farming with some land owners hoarding so much land.
There is always another way to look at a situation.
