Not surprised this Budget will further destroy the country. The British continue to pay for their refusal to engage in politics properly. I look forward to seeing all those **** petitions, letter writing campaigns, consultation **** trash and other ****.

Oh and the remaining Labour left expressing shock and horror at what's happening, while conveniently ignoring their complicity by refusing to purge the Labour right from the party mechanisms when they had control. Likewise, starting a new party.

On the bright side, Wes Streeting had his Guardian talk ruined last night by three different disruptive actions from three different groups. That vile creature - like all of Starmers allies - deserves nothing less than such hatred, contempt and direct action. That's how you do politics.

However, they are being very crafty because everyone will be reassessed. So unless you fall into the severely disabled category many will lose their LCWRA component. Where 3 millions jobs are coming from I've no idea.

As far as I can see,all these so called "jobs" are coming from the so many million+ houses they are promising to build,so we can all be "Bob the Builder" for them.Labour are a disgrace !!!

£1,720 only represents the loss of LCWRA it does not include the loss of any PIP entitlement that will be a lot more and added to the LCWRA loss will mean millions more people living in abject poverty. It is unforgiveable what this government intends to do and all I can hope is that something changes in the next few months to force them to backtrack on their proposed PIP changes.

Ah, thank you Danny. It is bloody confusing for folk. But that's made me feel slightly more optimistic.

Thanks for your message @sarah_lea12 my PIP award date is to Aug 27 so potentially a review from Aug 26. I would appeal if not successful (doubt I'd get 4 points) but it's then when LCWRA would go in Nov 28 that it is not then survivable. I'll be 65 then and 18 months to pension age.

What's particularly sad and galling to me is I worked for 3 yrs post Covid and kept telling myself that I'd get better over time but I got worse, pushing all the time to keep my job and not pacing (GP refused to refer me to a LC Clinic until 2024). I'm probably not stable enough to participate in trials next year. Words my (estranged) sister said ring in my ears, you're a lost cause. Whether I am or not that's what government make me feel. Sorry for depressing post. Not had a reply off any of the 20 MPs I emailed. For me it is more about just making peace (in advance) with my decisions in the event it all goes through, and at least I know the likely timing that it would affect me.

I'm sorry you were affected, it's only my hips and ankles/feet joints that are affected but they're quite important joints (apart from c another 20 diagnoses, 5 of which are bowel problems). I was totally healthy prior to Covid with only osteoarthritis.

Mine is neck, shoulders, wrist, knees, lower back, legs , feet, osteoporosis in both big toes bowel problems linked to it. Plus copd, fatigue due to my cleaning job

Has anyone looked into judicial reviews on the Government/DWP? Just something I'm looking at to feed my curiosity
