I disagree with your conclusions. The state is obliged to take care of the disabled and pensioners. Otherwise, what is it needed for?

Lol. Your "opinion" is one of the most ableist comments I've ever read on a disability forum. Many disabled people cannot go outside or make their own decisions, including going outside, so they have no choice but to rely on the state. That's not an opinion. That's how disability works.
Or would you prefer disabled people who cannot follow your advice to die? That's the logical conclusion of your "opinion," which is in line witth those supporting those cuts.

The UK never was a democracy to begin with.

Be under no illusions, if they're attacking disable people, then they're attacking everyone without a voice. I'm being realistic here when I say they're coming after everyone including pensioners, mental health and disabled. She mentioned the other day about taxing pensioners. They are not obligated to give you anything, when I claimed my pension, they said I hadn't paid any stamp since I left school, so I asked them who payed my stamp when I was in the air force.
They hung up and called me back an hour later saying I would get a full pension with add on's. But I can't claim AA or Pension credit because I get £5 too much. But in contrast anyone can claim PiP, whether you're rich or poor, nothing makes sense with parliament anymore. But good luck with your fight to keep your money. But if you think they care, then think again, they don't.
You may as well live another world as far as they're concerned.

It's not being discriminating, it's being real. just think logical and you'll see the light. They're after everyone, so tell me about discrimination, I've lost my money and for once I'm happy not being under their control. I get flat pension and that's all, still got all the disabilities but no money. You can't fight these buggers, they change the rules when they're losing.🚷

I’m not sure what points you are trying to make or add by your comments. I’m glad that the outdoors helps you.. for some people that is impossible health wise. I’m glad that you can manage your anxiety.. for some people that it’s like a tiger has entered the room? By your own admission you are not considered disabled so why are you giving negative, frightening feedback to those who are disabled stating they will never be helped??
I’m sorry about your inability to get Pension credit, perhaps you can find a thread on here that will be informative about that but please refrain from scaring those who are disabled about their future, I think at best you have strayed into the wrong thread.

Hi everyone,
Just to say there’s a new petition by Charlie Anderson called stop the 4 point rule. You can find the link on her YouTube video she just put up. Sorry I don’t know how to post links .

Their email is correspondence@equalityhumanrights.com
It says on their website that they could take 20 days to respond but they replied relatively quick with me

Ive not been impressed with him either, he acts very certain but when Ive checked things with the people the CAB contact for specialist advice stuff was not as clear cut as he made out. I would not trust him or the other woman that does youtubes about PIP.

The welfare state is going to be needed in the future. We are actually lucky we have something like welfare infrastructure many countries do not even have it. Most employment will be going in the future. More than 50% of people will NOT be working in 100-200 years time but there will still be an economy and we will still have to buy things. Employment will be taken over by AI. Almost all employment and businesses and trades you can think of can be taken over by AI. I wonder if the WCA assessor will be AI then?
People will not work in 100 years time, we are lucky we already have a welfare state that many countries do not and they are trying to destroy it.

I am thankful that, unlike many people here, I know that my MP is very much against these cuts and has spoken out forcefully about them, mentioning his ‘frightened constituents’. I have written quite a detailed letter to him, which I know has been received, and I imagine many others have too. He is a Labour MP and I only hope that their own MPs being so vocal will get this Labour Government scared. If they want to hold on to power.and that’s the aim of any governing party isn’t it, they should start listening fast.

Hopefully someone will post the link for us 😂

also watch dynamic duo , Rich knows ppl who work at the DWP and has worked there himself. Another one is the justice journals with a woman called Alison who also worked at DWP and took them to court for discrimination. Politics Joe also has interviews with Jeremy Corbyn and John McDonnell at the protests . All on YouTube

Unfortunately stable therapy dosen't exist anymore on the NHS. I hope you're able to handle seeking a therapist again soon, as by going private it's much less likely the therapy will abruptly end.
It's not okay to go around denying systemic ableism, ust because it dosen't affect you personally. Going after all disabled people is still discrimination.
Also you are still dependent on the DWP for your flat pension. The vast majority of DWP payments are for pensions, not disability benefits. Or unemployment for that matter.
And you can fight them. If people gave up fighting against fascist eugenicists that is the UK establishment, change will never happen. Case in point, the original DDA 1995.
