Its worse than ever thought

It’s disgusting. It is already hard enough to claim for PIP, it’s not given easily or with the stroke of a pen. Making it harder is going to affect so many people who really need the extra support. They are targeting the most vulnerable & disabled individuals in the country. It’s a sad state of affairs.

Thanks for sharing this, I hadn't seen it. I'm wondering why none of the journalists raise the issue of 1. The PIP change to eligibility/points increase to 4 and 2. More importantly, that they do not then connect it to the loss of LWCA leaving claimants potentially destitute. I can feel an email coming on to enlighten them 🙄🤨

Hi all,
A quick question.
I currently receive the LCWRA payment, for a few health reasons, but mainly as I hit one of the main criteria that seems to automatically qualify you for the payment, that being I can't swallow at all, all my nutrition is via Rig tube and I use a pump for the main part of my feed, this is connected 11 hours straight.
If the proposed changes come in, will I lose the LCWRA payment as I might not get 4 points on any one descriptor, even though it's one of the few health issues that's on the DWP list for automatic qualification?
Thanks,
Warren
