She’ll have a nice big house and pay off . We are fighting for survival. If he was my husband I wouldn’t want to be seen with him now .

Maybe the assessment centres wouldn’t have the staff to deal with such a high number plus pip ?

if this is true and it stands at 140 mp's ready to vote against the cuts (130 yesterday) then i'd say don't accept any concessions to the green paper….
let the vote happen as it is and get it rejected !

I agree though even if they get it delayed in order for an impact assessment that would show them how badly we will be affected. My worry is the mention of an extra 50,000 children in poverty. I hope they don’t get concessions for people who have young children only . And the rest of us are left to suffer . Nothing would surprise me with TTK.

I think from what I’ve read they know with Starmer they’re finished

It looks so far that they will only need the 83 Labour MPs but I think it pays to be hopeful but not too hopeful that that's all that's required. Getting a law through parliament is a complicated business to say the least. It's not just the numbers on our side though. It's the whole mood of the Labour MPs which is good news for us. 😊
I don't think that they will scrap the (so called) reforms completely I'm afraid. They will not want to look weak and ineffective to parliament or the people.
What they will have to do, however is to back down, a lot because of the size of the rebellion and the great number of seats they could lose in future elections to us voting them out.
The thing that rebellious MPs seem to be talking about the most is the fact that the government should wait until October to get the OBR's impact assessment into the effect of the cuts on raising the levels of employment of disabled people.
When the Tories green paper was declared unlawful, the main reason that happened was because the Tories had said that their reforms would get a lot of us back to work and the OBRs impact assessment had said then, that it was only going to be 3% of us that would actually get remployed.
That means that Labour's current plan will be completely discredited and they will have to come up with some proper reforms, instead of just cuts.
As it is they still cannot change the fact that the vast majority of us are too disabled to work so we cannot fit in with their fantasy politics.
However I believe a lot of pressure will taken off us and it's likely that we will get a very much less punitive set of cuts, if not a complete rethink.
Unfortunately, that is going to take time but I believe we have got a good chance of things becoming a lot better.
Finally if these proposals keep being postponed, they will run out of time in this parliament to see the full impact of reforms which will make it less worthwhile putting them through as they are now.

Yes, so it seems. 👍 That and it seems that they are going to back down a great deal on the WFA, due to the fact that it's a considerable part of why they lost so many votes at the Local Elections, handing them to Reform.
They are very unlikely to back down completely but are looking to set the amount of income pensioners can get at a higher rate before they will have to forgo the WFA.
That means that more poorer pensioners will be able to claim the WFA than they can now. At the moment it's only those with pension credit that can claim it.
It seems that part of what is driving this climb down is the big rebellion they are going to get next month with the welfare cuts vote as well.
It's great to see them eating humble pie already. 🤗 But that also looks like good news for the low income pensioners as well, which I'm pleased to see. 😊

💯. Though if it’s 140 now imagine the number once they read an impact assessment stating a million people in poverty

Spot on. 👌 That's what it all boils down to in the end. Even if I think she's suffered a lot it doesn't alter the fact that she can be miserable in comfort.
We are fighting possible destitution, not just poverty and trying to keep a roof over our heads which in many cases won't be the one we have now.
We face untold misery, she faces just having to get over a broken marriage.
Even if she didn't feel happy about our fate I can't imagine her doing anything towards it. We are too far from her ivory tower for her to really care about what happens to us.
