Thank you so much @charlie72 for more of your really encouraging research. 👏
It makes you realise how successful the pushing back of the tide has been for disabled people, over the years and most of all, it emphasises the possibilities we have for a much less damaging implementation of these proposals. I think though that we have to be realistic and realise that on the other hand that the government leadership are very unlikely to do a complete U Turn.
I wish too that there were more Labour MPs that would vote against the cuts, the majority of the numbers we have heard about on the media are abstaining rather than voting. 😞 Votes against would help us enormously.
Because the government have managed to take so much away from us and threaten us with so much more in the way of cuts (the Tories as well as Labour) it only serves to make us look on the pessimistic side though.
Perhaps we can allow ourselves be quite a bit more optimistic after all. 😃

Well he doesn’t seem to have any empathy for any of us . Obviously just a careerist and psychopath. Any mp voting for cuts out of fear or loyalty will just be stabbed in the back and left behind.

I read an article this morning that said reeves will have to go and the prime person to take over is Pat McFadden. I’m sure I’ve heard he’s for cuts but can’t fully remember.

I find that whole debate very troubling luvpink. I cant imagine why a disabled person would even suggest that idea on here. Why are we pitting ourselves against each other ? There may only be a few of ''us'' pension age people on here but it would seem the masses have forgotten we have by no means been spared from these changes. Think I just need to have a little break from here, I really thought we were all fighting as one for our rights, seems we are not.

What really gets to me about these proposed changes is the government did not consider the impact on mental health and the lack of clarity. I do feel bad that when I been worried and down I posted at these low times. I do apologise if I added to others worries . I am sorry for this

So my pip reassessment telephone call was due last week at 9am and didn't sleep, preparing myself, the call was late only for the lady to tell me that the healthcare professional wasn't available so is rearranged for next week. They don't understand what you go through, at least still doing reassessments. What does it mean if I get pip award for certain amount of years concerning November 26? Also ESA just had letter telling me it continues, the non contribution based one.

I think it’s a good idea Charlie . They’re all for themselves no matter the party. Anything that gets them votes .
