I forgot about that one, lol.

Here's another one I forgot about, Sausage Starmer which is one I came up with myself a while back, it relates to when he accidently said something like release the sausages by mistake instead of release the hostages.

Hearing Starmer talk about Farage concerning trusting him over your futures.. whether or not I do I certainly don't with him, like he doesn't get what he's doing, traits of narcissist.

There is a comment on Benefits and Work in the news section article about the CAB Pathway to Poverty report about Sian Berry MP early day motion 949. It is to do with welfare cuts and treating disabled people with dignity and respect. I have done what the poster asked and written to my MP asking him to sign it.

Me neither until today, I now wish I'd appealed against it, I scored 11 points in daily living, I never knew until today that 12 would have meant enhanced. I'm so cross with myself today now for accepting the lower amount through fear I'd lose the lot. I won't be making that same mistake again, thank god I come on this forum I'd have done same thing at my next reassessment and lost everything under new rules(if they succeed).

The 4 point rule is surely discriminatory. Is you went to your Dr/ specialist and he said do you have a 4? Point in pip and you said no is he/she going to say oh you’re not disabled then . It’s ridiculous. And of course those of us on enhanced can suddenly lose a point and we are back to tribunal. No one is safe and assessments can’t be predicted as it’s luck of who does your assessment imo

I'm undecided on this one. Whilst I would prefer they didn't make any changes, I can also see why this may be a consideration.
My two older sons both get UC at the LCWRA rate. One had it from 20 and one from 23ish. We didn't apply originally because it just wouldn't have been beneficial going through the assessment. But during lockdown, this could be done over the phone. So we applied for him.
They both received the COL payments, whereas we, getting Income Support, didn't. They both pay towards housekeeping but other than that, they have no bills, no shopping to buy, no fuel or car maintenance to pay for etc. So I can see why an under 22, living at home, doesn't really need as high an income as others. Plus many who receive LCWRA are still in Education until 25, so the parents will be claiming those benefits until the child turns 20.

I also think they should have made PIP three tiered like DLA, which would help those who may have needs but not quite enough points for Standard.

Unfortunately not all children are as lucky to have good parents though . I’ve known of kids thrown out age 16. I think any age should be supported if disabled but I do think the young need support to study or work but definitely not forced . Same for us too , give those who feel they could study or work the opportunity to but don’t force disabled people against their will.

I understand what your saying it's like everything really how can you single one person out who lives at home to someone who doesn't my fear is the same as pip that the most vunerable suffer with no one I was in care god 40 years ago when you turned 18 you was setup in a bedsit on your own i didn't know anything was a really scary time I was so vunerable with mental health odds was against me I'd hate for anyone to go through that at least I had a bedsit some people will be homeless then be increase of young people on the streets crime might turn to drugs or even street work so many dangerous possibilities if they have been diagnosed with disabilities then they should be entitled to benefits with medical evidence

I’m going to email Catherine. As I’ve said before Tory’s in 4th place in polls . They need a voting base . I wonder how many votes they lost due to Mel stride .
