Nattokinase for atrail fibrillation?
I've been really ill on the blood thinner prescribed for my afib
I've had a bad night sleep
WasWas like a zombie 4 hours after taking revanoxoban yesterday
I couldn't concentrate or do normal things
I woke up with severe diarrhoea and achy muscles
I feel like I've been on the boxing ring
The fatigue is unbearable
Although I'm. Still tired, I'm. Not taking it again
Made me so ill
I. Still ache now
So I've been googlimg alternatives, that are not dangerous or come with side effects

So true

Oh no, @Amberpearl. Is it worth contacting your GP to book an appointment as it seems to be really impacting you.

The blood thinners made me so ill
I can't take them
So I looked up alternatives with no. Side effects you can buy online
The nurse who prescribed them is on holiday for the next 2 weeks

Bless you, is there an alternative doctor at your GP you could see @Amberpearl? I'd not recommend purchasing off the internet without checking it over with a professional first as there may be other aspects a GP might be aware of. I hope you're able to get sorted soon. 💛

Hi @Amberpearl, I agree with @holly-scope - I cannot urge you enough to get advice first, before taking anything, especially blood thinners, off the Internet, and whether homeopathic or not.
I'd recommend you ringing 111 for advice this weekend, particularly important if you've stopped the medication prescribed for you.
Take care and stay safe @Amberpearl.

Good evening all.
I have had a pleasant day even despite being in a flare up with my fibromyalgia.
I am sat here sippingbon pink gin and listening to 70's music.

@luvpink Sorry you're having a flare up. :( Pink gin sounds nice though!

OK I will get advice
I'm still taking the beta blocker
Just not the blood thinner as it made me so ill I couldn't function
How can I care for my cats if I can't stay awake and in pain

Hopefully, they'll be able to prescribe a different blood thinner for you @Amberpearl and where you don't get awful side effects and your day to day life is not badly affected.
I know when i started beta blockers in 2023, my pulse kept going too low (c 50) but it's stable at 60+ mostly now. When it was too low I had no energy whatsoever and even though my dogs are good, they can't look after themselves so I do understand.
I've never taken blood thinners but whether they're anticoagulants, or anti-platelets, they're important to prevent worsening health conditions.
I hope you're able to get advice and the medication to help you.

Side effects of meds are worse than the illness

I would ring 111 today, especially so you can let them know how you're feeling/symptoms. They can advise responsibly including about possible side effects.

Thank you.
I had a nice evening watching the national television awards I had recorded.
