@Passerby - there's no harm in including your WCA report, tho UC & PIP are completely different benefits, so only if you think it's relevant to your PIP claim.

The most important info is that you provide yourself as your GP doesn't see you dress, bathe or budget etc. PIP rarely get in touch with your GP/consultants. Your diagnoses won't be in any doubt & remember that PIP is looking at your functional ability to 'reliably' do any of the applicable descriptors. PIP is also about how you are the majority of days, so try & indicate how often you have difficulty with these PIP activities.

I think it's sometimes useful to keep a diary for a week or so as sometimes we're so used to how we manage some daily living activities that we don't always realise that we can struggle to complete them.

This is very useful, & please do look at the 'reliability' section as it's very important: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/personal-independence-payment-assessment-guide-for-assessment-providers/pip-assessment-guide-part-2-the-assessment-criteria

Delete comment if possible, I mentioned Jeremy Hunt, so you can guess his opinion on cuts.

It's awful when you think about it we wasn't mentioned in manifesto but still had hope and left hanging for months ! And the way they have made it so obvious that we are a burden just think of all the extra money they could have like vultures after everything of the UK citizens they really need to go I hope there's someway someone can get them out πŸ™

There is so much discrimination in the way things are being done behind the scenes, yeah hoping to that they get scrapped till proper look into how the impact will affect so many vulnerable adults πŸ‘

There is a few lawyers waiting for more details ready to fight this but need to know the parts they are hiding.

I feel in fairness they should stop them till the government share everything if they have nothing to hide

Courts have consistently ruled that policy decisions made without proper impact assessments can be unlawful, regardless of the policy's "merits", I think that is another piece of food for thought.

I copy and pasted an extract from a Guardian article from today. Labour will lose seats in Wales over this. Labour seem to have this wish to alienate their own voters in Labour orientated seats.

Disability benefit cuts will affect Wales disproportionately, campaigners say.Β

The proposals, which are still at the consultation stage, would further compound poverty and exclusion for disabled people in Wales, according to the chief executive of Disability Wales, Rhian Davies.

β€œIt’s not just individuals who will be out of pocket, entire communities will be affected. Our survey of members showed that people are angry and terrified and some reported suicidal thoughts, which is very concerning,” she said.

β€œWe must address the systemic failures that keep disabled people out of work and public life before we start looking at reforming the benefits system.”

About 900,000 people, or 27% of Wales’ population, live with a disability, according to Public Health Network Cymru – higher than the UK average of 22% – and 11% of working-age people, compared with 7% in England.
