My migration has been fine so far ( apart from having my rent paid directly to council so I lost a bit and no one seems able to sort it out) . I was confused about one of the questions online and uc put me through to CAB . I’ve had some nice ppl from uc when I’ve called them .

I also fought for two years up to upper tier and can’t imagine doing that again but I will if I have to . Stupid thing is the tribunal went against me as I didn’t use aids , now it’ll go against if you do use aids. I have it on my form I need prompting and I won’t accept a 2 for that so easily this time . I think we need to plan ahead as we don’t know how this will turn out .

Kendall needs some help that level of anger towards disabled and sick people should be ringing alarm bells in MPs heads. No empathy at all for anyone with illness it's appalling what Timms did

Hi Catherine, so if people reassessed now or before Nov 26 even if don't get awarded but then do over mandatory reconsideration they do then Nov 26 don't matter.
When the see the damage that this will cause to people and the demonstrations it's going to be uproar on the streets.

I’ve never heard of that before. In my experience so far it’s been fine , in fact I should be better off than I was before. Was advised don’t go over till you have to and I’ve had less money because of it . Try not to worry it’s not that bad . You contact CAB at cab help to claim live chat or by phone

What are credit agencies I'm in debt with klarna clearpay but that's my business you tend to always hear the bad stories my worry is doing it online I think just bring it on we been and are going through so much already I try to reason with myself and say millions upon millions have and are going through this I have no impulse control awful with money if they ask why I will simply say I have no impulse control been to therapy for it and it hasn't helped next probley ask why I put money in daughters account time to time because she helps me and buys me items what makes me laugh on pip ask do you have problems budgeting and get points for on UC they totally ignore the factors that may be the reason why ahhhh breathe one day at a hellish time we will get through this and reference back to what an awful tike ot was but we will get there and they won't get thier elitist wishlist

Do you mean they didn't accept to pay your rent directly to the council (your landlord)?
I want my rent paid directly to my housing association.

I think so because they do MR from the date you claimed ie if your owed any back pay and sometimes it's quicker I put mine in last July my award was ending March 2025 so I got two weeks before my end date

No they are fine about that but I made the mistake of starting my claim on the wrong day . So my esa was due on the following Monday and I started uc migration on the Friday before. ESA sent me full amount of my last payment. So housing benefit did the same Uc then stopped a certain amount from my money. But uc also deducted the extra that was paid towards my rent but no one knows who actually has it . But they’ve taken it from me . I would say do not apply for uc before you next payment of esa is due . I applied a few days early . Had I applied on the day my esa was due I would have had one last payment then uc kicks in . But I did it too soon and caused an overlap.
You ask them to pay your rent directly then ask your council to send them a particular form . I’ll look at my journal and check . Council sends them a UC 47 to request rent from them directly2 -
Good afternoon
I am trying not to worry too much until we get an official announcement.
I have been distracting myself by going for short walks and sitting on a bench looking out to sea.
I have been watching stuff I record on television.
Personally I don't believe the government will get away with this.
Think about it, do you really believe that society would accept this cull of sick and disabled people?
I don't think so.
I believe there will be absolute uproar like there was with the winter fuel allowance and people will protest and not let the government get away with it.

I moved over voullentatrlly and it was all done over the phone , I did have some security questions when I had to make the claim for UC , I think they do a check with a verified company like the post office or Experian , I remember questions like have you taken out a phone contract in the last two years , things like that .... I must of passed because if they can't confirm your identity like that they don't let you go forward with the claim ..... There was a bit of confusion at the beginning as they were training people and I was being asked for sick notes , even though I'd been on ESA for 15 years .... They must of thought it was a new claim instead of me migrating over .... Luckily enough there was a women on the other end of the phone training them and when she realised what was going on she took over , her title was a DOA " disability something agent " .... She left a message in my journal saying she would be calling and we went from there she asked me a few questions like if I'd had any gaps in my claim etc and had my claim up on her computer while we were both in it , basically excepted all my commitments on her end while we were on the phone , she then informed me I was going to stay on cbesa every two weeks and the rest would be paid at the end of the month in lcwra .... That was the last I heard of them , until the UC told me they are building my claim and it all went through ok .... Never had to show id or anything like that ....I've been changed to UC now exactly 3 years now and the only message Ive has up until now is about other benefits I have , basically just says our records show you also receive cbesa , you are allowed to continue getting this bit it will get deducted from your UC award at the end of each payment .... Then they show you a list of benefits Inc ESA and say if you get 1 or more of these benefits OTHER than the ones we already know about them you must contact the department and tell them you are now on UC ..... Like I say they know I'm on ESA and UC so I don't need to tell them about them and I don't revive any others so I don't need to contact anyone .... Other than that I haven't heard from them
