It feels like they don't actually care about that at all :(

Unfortunately most of the general public won't care about the cuts, the papers ect have made us all look like scougers. The papers were up in arms about the cuts to the WFA and 2 child benefits. Disabled people have always been invisible and to a large amount of the population they just won't care as long as they are OK.

Ultimately I'm extremely bitter and resentful over this saga but it's motivating me to stick it to them because I'm not crawling into a corner and giving up.
It feels like I'm reliving the past but with Labour, Tories, Reform as the abusers and instead of cowering, begging for mercy, falling for the gaslighting, the manipulation and the lies, I see through it all and I feel more defiant to prove these nasty, vindictive invertebrates wrong.
You have to be a spineless coward to abuse those you think are weaker than you.

I just had a reply from starmers office giving the usual rubbish. I replied asking how they intend to decide who’s classed as several, will it be NHS guidelines or the assessors who lie . I said I have enhanced now and am mostly house/ bed bound but don’t get a 4 point so what happens to me as there aren’t any other benefits available. I can’t apply for uc basic as I cannot engage with work as ME sufferers cannot push themselves as it’s harmful. I said there are millions of disabled people who will not vote for Starmer if these reforms go ahead so that’s more lost votes to add to the pensioners and farmers . Next election we will have a reform government and Tory opposition. I said you mentioned the Tory’s but I never felt this hated by them only Labour .

Strangely Catherine I just had email from starmers office

WFA he announced u turn behind reeves back . Then he announced grooming gang u turn behind cooper and Philips back . Now coopers had to come and announce an inquiry after he’s already done . Thrown all 3 under the bus . And I sent Starmer this

Blaming the Tory’s then get sent a poll which shows their PMs are better than Starmer 😂. Wasn’t it weird though that they’re sending emails out now just as it’s all about to go to parliament. And Kemi office replied to all three of my emails too

I disagree that the general public don't care about the disabled community.
Of course there will always be some who believe the nonsense they see and read in the media but the parasites who print these things are out to make money and divide people politically.
I do feel the majority of descent members of the public will be outraged and they will come out on our side just like they did with the winter fuel allowance.
I am determined to try and remain positive and not let any of this consume my mind day in day out, night and day.
I have been sat on a bench in the sunshine today overlooking the sea and tonight I will sip some pink gin and watch the soaps on television.

Reading comments on the mirror people are mostly on our side . Unfortunately it doesn’t fit the msm agenda to tell the truth about the support from the public.
Enjoy your gin and soaps luvpink

Hi lovely
I know its really hard but try to find something positive to focus on every now and then.
Watch a film, have a bit of chocolate or whatever may give your mind a rest from this.
Please take care. X
