Vehicles blocking pavements

He seems to love arguing. He tried it with me when I first started commenting. Apparently disabled people should be apologetic little wallflowers in case the able-bodied people hurt us 🤣

Reminds me of a certain Monty Python sketch.

😆 @Wheeled_Weapon , I've given up on that, not into online arguing. I'm only a part time apologetic wallflower, but can fire up quite easily. 😉
Good one @Ranald!
Just to add, the parking in my sister's road has been reported this morning, as it is just not on. We'll see what happens.

Smoking is harmful. Electronic cigarettes kill your lungs, mine are bad enough as it is.

A. I don't smoke.
B. It's banter.
C. I didn't ask.

I honestly don't care.

That is, you have not read either the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities or ISO 9999 Assistive products for persons with disability - Classification and terminology (now Assistive products - Classification and terminology).

E-scooters are legally restricted to private land or specific areas, and their use on pavements is prohibited, despite being used by some disabled people as mobility aids. Mobility scooters (both class 2 and 3) are designed for individuals with mobility impairments and are allowed on pavements, e-scooters are not.
E-scooters are not mentioned in Assistive products - Classification and terminology.

Do you say this after reading ISO 9999
12 17 06?

I have read it yes. An e-scooter is not classed as an invalid carriage though, it is a "powered transporter"
"invalid carriage” means a mechanically propelled vehicle the weight of which unladen does not exceed 254 kilograms and which is specially designed and constructed, and not merely adapted, for the use of a person suffering from some physical defect or disability and is used solely by such a person. - Road Traffic Act.
