@Albus_Scope I know i feel for your fiend, I couldn't cope either.
@Catherine21 I'd love an AC but we would all be fighting over it, and I'd be scared of my electric bill lol.

Very warm here! I took a walk to the shop on my lunch with wet hair. Took the wrong card, so had to make a double trip however by the time I got back my hair was nearly completely dry ๐

I am normally a very positive person but I am struggling big time right now with all of this benefit reform nonsense.
I hope you all have as good a day as you can.
Take care.

I spent most of yesterday on the doorstep @Albus_Scope ,dealing with people who'd been trying to call me for five days on account of our new broadband provider changing our phone number.

Oh blimey @Teigr did they not tell you the number was changing beforehand?!

Good afternoon all :)
Its much cooler down here today which is lovely! Does anybody have any weekend plans? I'm going to watch Moulin Rouge musical in Bristol tomorrow, not seen it before but looking forward to it!
How has your day been so far @Teigr?
Sorry to hear you're struggling @luvpink, its a horrible and overwhelming time at the moment with all the benefit uncertainty. I really hope you will be feeling a bit better soon, have you got support around you to help during this time?
Hopefully you won't be waiting too much @Amberpearl, did they give you a timeline of when you could expect an appointment to come through?
Thats the ideal weather @Elvisdog. Warm enough to not wear a jacket or jumper but cool enough to still enjoy the sun!1 -
Lucky you! 16C, strong winds, and drizzle here in my part of Angus.
I see you have 23C, but you are getting some rain soon, too.
Feeling a bit like Michael Fish here, but our humidity is 81%, and Birmingham is 40%, so now you know!

@Ranald yes we have some stronger but warm wind today. We are expecting rain over the weekend but my plants and the wildlife (i have hoglets in the garden) definitely need it, though I hope it isn't a deluge.
I hope you get some pleasant warmer weather soon.

We got a warm week back in May, I expect that was the summer!
It's no surprise that a more northerly latitude is cooler, what with cold air sweeping down from Greenland (Hopefully not soon to be known as Trumpland).
I think the temperature here is actually more "normal". I bet Mid and Southern England didn't experience weeks of high temperatures in years gone by. Certainly not in June/early July. ( I am guessing, I haven't studied it)

All right Marydoll? Are you South Down then?
1 -
@Marydoll5 yes we have had hedgehogs for several years, my garden is 3 theirs and the higher one is overgrown with blackberry bush's , ivy and other weeds and grasses makes great cover for them. Lovely to see.
@Ranald last year we had a very dry late summer, very little rain. The arey already mentioning saving water and pipe ban's. My water bill has more than doubled last few years.
