I am normally a very positive person but I am struggling big time right now with all of this benefit reform nonsense.
I hope you all have as good a day as you can.
Take care.

I spent most of yesterday on the doorstep @Albus_Scope ,dealing with people who'd been trying to call me for five days on account of our new broadband provider changing our phone number.

Oh blimey @Teigr did they not tell you the number was changing beforehand?!

Good afternoon all :)
Its much cooler down here today which is lovely! Does anybody have any weekend plans? I'm going to watch Moulin Rouge musical in Bristol tomorrow, not seen it before but looking forward to it!
How has your day been so far @Teigr?
Sorry to hear you're struggling @luvpink, its a horrible and overwhelming time at the moment with all the benefit uncertainty. I really hope you will be feeling a bit better soon, have you got support around you to help during this time?
Hopefully you won't be waiting too much @Amberpearl, did they give you a timeline of when you could expect an appointment to come through?
Thats the ideal weather @Elvisdog. Warm enough to not wear a jacket or jumper but cool enough to still enjoy the sun!1 -
@Ranald yes we have some stronger but warm wind today. We are expecting rain over the weekend but my plants and the wildlife (i have hoglets in the garden) definitely need it, though I hope it isn't a deluge.
I hope you get some pleasant warmer weather soon.

@Marydoll5 yes we have had hedgehogs for several years, my garden is 3 theirs and the higher one is overgrown with blackberry bush's , ivy and other weeds and grasses makes great cover for them. Lovely to see.
@Ranald last year we had a very dry late summer, very little rain. The arey already mentioning saving water and pipe ban's. My water bill has more than doubled last few years.

Hello all. It is still a bit too hot. In special inside the room but better.
I have an issue. I am filing in the form on line for the transition to universal credit. But as I fill in the sections. The sections disappear. I thought it would give me the option to review every section again but apparently I can't. I need to add up stuff on the conditions I have bit i am not sure why I can not. Will it give the chance to review all the answers once I finish with the form or will I have to ask them in the journal on for permition to add up stuff.
I don't trust them and I hate the idea of reaching them unless I have no choice. And I mean no choice. Thanks for your help

Had to go to the podiatrist today as I have hallux rigidus in both big toes and the joint hypermobility syndrome in the top part of my feet, plus flat feet which I have insoles for
I was explaining that I'm in pain, and it hurts, feels like it burns. Also that my toes sublex , she was very off with me. Don't use medical words, how does it feel ,even though I told her. I said also it effects my legs and knees .I don't want to hear about it her reply. Which to me they are connected especially the joint hypermobility part.
Had my copd review yesterday, got to have new inhaler

Good morning btw.
It's Carnival Day here and the weather is less than ideal.

I don't think we've ever had hedgehogs in our garden.
Unless they're very sneaky ones.

@Ranald yes !
We got the caravan when my husband was recovering from major brain surgery last year. Best decision ever and less than an hours travelling from home.
@Elvisdog that's a great photo. It's lovely having hedgehogs about.
@Teigr hope you enjoy carnival day despite the weather.
@Schildpad I feel your frustration. Filling in online forms can be very trying.
It is still really windy here 24 hours later. I'm going for an ice cream this afternoon anyway ๐

It's dry @Marydoll5 ,but very windy.
The procession actually sets off from our street,so I could watch most of it from my bedroom if I wanted to.
I hope you and your husband are well.

Hi everyone @Ranald you was right about the rain, started last night, overcast today, I can actually, turn my fan off and turn the TV volume down, I haven't been able to hear over the noise my fan makes.
I love seeing the hedgehog I have better pictures, but I couldn't find them.
@Schildpad My youngest son who gets LCW UC and was just told he doesn'thave to find work just prepare for work. Has started an apprenticeship, ive told UC , I spoke with a lovely lady but she didn't seem to know what we do in terms of his claim. My only reservations about the apprenticeship, is that he was told by pathways, not to tell them about his Neurodivergent's at the interview, as he would probably be overlooked, I was both upset and then angry.
I talked to the UC helpline when I transitioned from ESA SG, I must be honest they were helpful and helped me do my claim over the phone anything I didn't know i put it in my journal , it's a hard process but it becomes more clearer as you go on.
I wasn't to pleased when my money went down, when I.had a rent rise, any rises come off the transitional protection payment, so finally our money reaches the same as normal UC payments.
Good luck with the transition and if you can't find the answers, give the help line a try.
