Hi @Amberpearl The council deal with anything classed as detrimental to health for free, but mice do not count so you would be charged.

If you get Council Tax Support it would be a lower charge. My council would charge £52 for three visits. Its how they would deal with it would it involve poison? Is there anyway you could keep you cats out of the kitchen while the mice problem was dealt with?

    I looked on council website

They offer a free pest control service for all pests inside the home

    I'm. Worried they use poison

No. Good as I have cats

Gus would have to see that as a challenge to his mouse disposal crown.

@Wheeled_Weapon @Amberpearl my cat catches our mice, when any are brave enough to come out. Reminds me of Tom and Jerry.

My son tries to release them if he gets to them in time. Im terrified of them, and I love nature and door mice are really cute and I would hold one of them. I think it's the tails, I can't watch mole rats on TV either and rats don't get me started.

Sorry @Elvisdog I've had to remove those images, I'm not sure they belong on the community. I hope you understand.

@Albus_Scope sorry for that 😐. It's not an encouraged action for my cat to do. We only took the photo to show the council. I should have been more mindful. My son did try to intervene in order to release any mice she caught. My apologies to anyone offended.

It's ok @Elvisdog no problem at all. I'm just very aware we have a lot of animal lovers here, so thought it best just to keep the pics out of the way. 😊

Maybe set up a mini Vlad the Impaler type scene with the dead mouse impaled on a cocktail stick. Set fear into the hearts of the other mice.
