Presumably these pilot areas have been given extra resources to help ensure there aren't delays in seeking Fit Notes.

I think you may be refering to where, they are piloting an idea where the doctor gives you support to work instead of a fit note?.

We went into our doctors the other week for the wife to get a prescription for her vertigo and they said it's a four week wait.Gone are the days of where you could sit and wait. It's diabolic with the NHS now. I'm diabetic and have to use the NHS chiropody. It used to be straight in every two months, now it can run onto three months.

MPs are meant to work for their constituents yet when they stand up for constituents they get the whip removed 😡 I wish they’d vote no confidence and remove him

See Rachael Maskell has been suspended by Starmer as well.

People here in Scotland gave them a chance. They've messed it up big style. I'm basing that on conversations with family, friends, and acquaintances.
My mission is to ensure my local constituency is fully aware our MP voted for these changes, and ensure he is a one-term wonder.
It's all I can do in the meantime.

What! I've never heard of that before.

I don't see - how legally - the PM is able to deselect MP's - surely they've been voted in by their constituents - so, surely - it is up to these constituents whether they get the boot ?

I'm on ir esa , I was on CB esa for a year because I used to be a carer and on carers allowance. After that I was moved on iresa. I then was working 10 hours a week and on permitted work for 5 years, also get Pip. Had to give my job up in 2023 , due to ill health getting worse. So how does CB esa work ? Do you get it if you work full time. Would I be entitled to it when I move to UC , as I worked for 5 years

Hopefully people will start leaving Labour to join Corbyn's party when he get's it up and running.

For brand new ESA CB claims you wouldn't qualify now, as you need sufficient NI Contributions via working in the last few years.
I'm guessing your CB ESA was originally Work Related Activity Group as you said it changed after a year to IR ESA?
Have you since been moved to the ESA Support Group and currently get SG?

Something has gone completely wrong in this country and Reform's answer will be to destroy the NHS and cut welfare to the bone which is going to cause civil unrest, massive homelessness, more crime, more devastation, more hatred towards immigrants and more hatred towards the backing of the Ukrainians vs the Russians.
When the pockets are empty, when the purse strings are tighter people will look for groups of people to blame, cowards usually blame the easiest targets when it massive government mismanagement over at least 15 years has led us to the position, oh I can remember the 2008 great recession also.

I find it amazing that I worked two years prior to being awarded incapacity benefit in 2009 and when they moved people over to ESA in 2013 I was placed in cbesa support group ( even though it was a mistake because they should of placed me in cbesa with IR top up ) although they rectified that with a back payment...…
But even now I'm still on cbesa just because of working 2 years prior to my claim
( actually i think it changed to new style ESA because in 2022 I voullentatrlly moved to UC , where I was automatically put in the lcwra group because of my support group status ) But my cbesa stayed separate although I think cbesa changes to new style when you go over to UC
But never the less new style ESA is still cbesa in another name .... And all these years later just because I worked two years before my claim started and there's been no break in it , I still qualify for cbesa / New style ESA ..... I find that rule strange , you would think they would reassess it after so many years of not working , not that I'm complaining , as you get your no credits towards your pension payed for

To be honest with you all I think the whole situation is absolutely disgusting, the government should have been aiming at the rich companies bragging about their profits and the MPs having a pay rise and don't give a damn on the disabled people. They should be ashamed of themselves, it doesn't matter what part of the elements of the benefits they simply shouldn't point into our direction. Nobody wants or asked for

I used to be so active and worked all of my life and now I'm 55 years old and can't even cut my own food up let alone cook it, then you people from the housing association so what is wrong with you then and expect you to do exactly what they want but not one thought about how that makes people feel. Let alone being in constant pain and don't sleep at night, my husband is now my full time carer and our daughter is my young carer thanks to her school because they don't have a clue what safeguarding children means and put it in place so we pulled her out of school and we are homeschooling her now. But getting back to this I've found since being disabled people look and treat you differently than before and trying to get a mobility scooter on a bus is a nightmare because the driver doesn't seem to want to help you and other passengers stare, huff and puff until I get in the space provided.

Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) has a time limit, specifically for those in the Work-Related Activity Group. For those receiving "New Style" or contribution-based ESA, the time limit is generally 365 days. There is no time limit for those in the Support Group or receiving income-related ESA.

So .....
those on ESA that are in the wrag .… ( either cbesa or new style ESA ) Are limited to normally 365 .... And ir ESA in the wrag has no end date
And for people on ESA that are in the support group CBESA , new style ESA , IR ESA ) there is no time limit ....
I get CBESA or New style ESA support group every two weeks , and lcwra at the end of the month .... Been like that for 3 years now
