Good morning. Doing better today so far. Though I started the day off at a sprint due to early doctors appointment. Now I'm having a rest so I can assess how many spoons I have left for today.
The tornado that is my dog Tez needs his walk at the very least!
What is everyone up to?

Afternoon all! The air is so humid today, it feels slightly…chewy. I hope everyone manages to feel more comfortable soon.

You secured an actual physical appointment? We just fill in an econsult thingy and then wait weeks for a telephone call.

I am very fortunate and lucky to have a decent GP and surgery. I see my Gp every month or so as a safety net and because there are always things going wrong with my mind and body.
Part of the reason for this is the mental health service in my area is rubbish and offer no support so my GP has picked up some of that shortfall

Yuck, at least you will get rid of the rain by tea time (don't quote me on it).

I had a panic attack..I woke up rather shaken. I checked my account and found out one of the payments of housing benefits is like 50 something pounds less than normally get. It comes in two parts. I am assuming this will be the last payment until I get UC... But is this normal. I am scared the new UC when it rolls up all be a lot less...

Anyway I hope I will feel better. I got my Fridays commitments. And will get back home at 5 as it gets busy. And another day. But all this is a torture. Not as hot so it helps to sleep a bit better .. have a nice day.

evening everyone, I hope you’re all okay.
Well my day started out well and then took a nose dive. 4 years ago I asked my Dr if he could arrange for me to have an x-ray of my hips. He said he would be laughed out of the hospital if he did this. My hips have been so painful to the point of me finding it difficult to walk. Then I’m not able to sleep due to feeling like I was lying on a brick. Anyway I saw a different Dr about 4 weeks ago and he immediately sent me for an x-ray of my hips! The results came back saying I have bone spurs an impingement. So he referred me to orthopaedics who have replied saying in the first instance physio is recommended. I have been having physio for the last 3/4 years off and on due to back pain. I got so upset because I feel like I have been in pain forever and they clearly didn’t know how long this has been going on. I feel like no one believes me and wondering do I imagine all this. Then to top it off they commented my BMI is high and have I considered lowering it. I am so upset and frustrated. I just don’t know where to turn or what to do. I’ve totally had enough. I seem to be going round in circles and just now getting anywhere. 😭
