Hi @libbya
Welcome to our online community/website.
Please please let me know if I can offer you any help & support ??????????? -
I have been receiving contribution based ESA benefit since last October when I had to give my job up due to my Osteoarthritis. I was assessed as fit to work in July which I appealed against. I won my appeal on 13/10
This benefit is due to end on 22/10. I have been told I can only register for JSA but only to have my NI paid for me. I am 60 yrs old and have little prospect for work. My husband works full time and I receive 2 small private pensions each month but I need something g to replace what I used to earn
Is there any other benefit I can claim ? -
Hi @libbya

Hi Libby and welcome
Have you made a claim for PIP ?
It is a benefit for people who have difficulty with everyday tasks. Some people with arthritis fall into this catagory so it might be worth taking the self test.

@CarolY15 Have you used one of the Benefit Calculators? They will tell you what you are eligible to claim. I wanted to comment and ask if you are getting support with your arthritis? I'm so sorry to hear it is getting worse in your fingers.Hannah - She / Her
