Corbyn and Sultana announce new political party
They've called it Your Party, which I think is a nice name.

Apparently the name is just a placeholder for the website according to Sultana, they're wanting to "Name the party through democratic process" So keep an eye on the site I guess?

Here's a link to the website, although I guess if they do eventually change the name the link wont work any more: Your Party
I've just signed up.

Pinching a couple of seats from Labour, what's the point?
Someone please tell me i'm wrong and missing something.

I'm excited for new political parties to come as at the moment we don't have much of a choice. Labour have lost their way. Conservatives can't be trusted. Reform.. well I don't need to comment on them. Theres green party too, but if they got in power I think the whole country would be in a panic as no one would know what to do.
Hopefully we start seeing more choices when it comes to political parties.

I think I would be more concerned about who is in the background funding them

Hopefully a lot more people will leave Labour and join them.

Yes, Ross, but a disgruntled handful, who see no advancement in the Labour Party. Whatever happened to Chuka Umunna and Luciana Berger? OK, the former is a banker, and Ms Berger got a seat in the HofL, but it ended their careers as MPs! Moving to a new party i mean. ( And let that be a lesson to them lol).

@michael57 - Can it be more suspect than funders of the others? OK, not a very high bar, I do admit!

Time will tell got a bit longer with labour yet

It's the best news I've heard politically for a long long time. Corbyn was slaughtered by the media in 2019 and testament to the nation being completely brainwashed is the fact they chose Boris Johnson.
Welcome back Jeremy. You get my vote

And maybe another term? Look at how an unpopular Emmanuel Macron got in again, just to keep Marine Le Pen out.

What will be will be not worth fretting over it as long as there is no tax on plants

Don't bet on it, Michael. Dobbies had better watch out!

A hung parliament is a strong possibility.
As the PM, Starmer could struggle on, leading a minority government or scrounge around to form a viable coalition with the Lib-Dems, Green, SNP, and any new party.
This time last year, I thought Labour had at least two terms. Despite some dubious figures, the potential was there for a solid one-nation government. They blew it so quickly.
I've signed up for the new party. The unions are behind them. We an exhausted nation that needs root and branch change.

The affluent 'home counties' and there equivalent are never going to vote for Corbyn. What about the 'blue rinse brigade'?
If I lived in England, i would probably vote for this new party, despite feeling it a hopeless gesture.

I agree, I can't see labour getting another term after what they have done. I think labour will be out the running now for a few years after next election. Its just not labour anymore and completley lost its way and turned its back on people.
