I feel so scared today on reflection looking back of the last 14 months of labour first started with winter fuel cuts UC been brought forward wca pip still not clear on that yet from my only worry being UC to Digital ID now this for me outweighs all of the above and to think its genuine to stop illegal migration to be is crazy the face out of cash is freedom gone no giving kids pocket money helping a family member out ect to be monitored by a government who have such disregard for the people I need to detox off my phone I never thought id get addicted but I am and this is how it will work this time and it didn't 20 years ago the reason why kids young adults even me are addicted to technology look when they shut FB and Tiktok in certain country they went mad I cant imagine a world where your watched all the time how to escape I will say no lets see if they cut everything off and mandatory isnt law you can say no

I seem to recall you saying you'd not really started to pay attention to politics until Sunak was nearly out of power @Catherine21 ? It's true that sometimes ignorance is bliss, as politics can be a lot to take in and honestly, I think there's been less bad talking points in the last 14 months than for a good few years before that. But it's good to take breaks from social media, as it's all so polarising these days and everyone is thinking of ways to get you clicking, it can be a lot to deal with. Especially with Tiktok!

Its already happening i posted this especially since it means they can interpret everything you do as a reason to potentially harass you. They record your sex life. Read it. UC already do alot of harm why should they have information then be allowed to abuse it. If they already do harm why should they be allowed to do so much more.

@Amazonianup the DWP would have no way of recording your sex life. Where did you read this please?

I think they are referring to the mention in the link they posted where it says:
"DWP also processes sensitive information that may include:
- physical or mental health details
- racial or ethnic origin
- political, religious or other beliefs of a similar nature
- trade union membership
- sexual life
- genetic data
- biometric data
- offences including alleged offences
- criminal proceedings, outcomes and sentences"
I'm assuming it might mean orientation but either way it's strange the way the gov put that there.

Im lost how can they monitor sex life ?
0 -
As I said, I would assume it means orientation which is asked for on a lot of forms, but I don't know.

They'd only be able to monitor digital data, so my guess (and it is just a guess) would be from medical records.

Oh ok thanks

It is strangely worded though, very confusing.
