Good afternoon everyone I am hoping to do some training on Sunday for Girl Guides but I'm not sure if I can make it because I had the flu vaccine yesterday and my carers full of cold.

good evening…. i survived yet another day… anyway. i am not sure what i will be doing tomorrow… i probably will pop out for a bit and back home as weather is not very good.. it is kinda humid and cold.

i am very scared of everything related to electricity. i try to switch off the main and change the light bulb and then i am very scared to switch the mains back on. .. so i try to do it with my eyes closed and covering my ears… i do not like it..

Is anyone up to anything fun today? Think I'll just be finding something cosy to watch this evening and maybe do some crafting. I've been teaching myself to needle felt so my fingers are a bit sore but I'm enjoying myself 😄

Had terrible day my dad hit me i dont know how much more I can take he hasn't got dementia or anything like that hes just horrible tbh has been all my life he lives in squalor they deep cleaned his flat twice and said if its not kept to a clean standard they will look at termination of tenancy so I went today he won't let Me clean fruit flies everywhere toilet blocked I leave that at that food teabags all over floor stinking he hasn't let me do it for two weeks and today he started he called me useless said he loathes me and my fat useless face and then hit me I walked out I know he wont live much longer but hes impossible ive always tried to make his flat nice gave him curtains bedding lamps the lot week later its rotten I dont understand how a flat can get so rotten anyway rant over

Oh @Catherine21, that's horrible. It's never okay for someone to hit someone like that and the things he has said to you are definitely not okay either. Does your dad get any help from social services? Do you think he'd be eligible or open to it? It sounds like a lot for you to handle on your own.
Perhaps he's got his own demons going on, but it's not right for him to treat you like that when you're just trying to help him. Please try to look after yourself today after hearing all those hurtful things, that can't be nice to deal with at all.

Im so tired rosie its only been six weeks since fifi I cant make excuses for him it takes me back to my childhood when he acts like that I have to suffer humiliation when I visit he lives in a residential home where they have thier own flats staff come to me saying corridor smells and naturally people complain ive tried everything see i am a big empath I act like things don't hurt me but they do Ive always wanted him to be something diffrent but yes its draining sorry I do over share

It sounds like you're doing your very best to help him but remember that you're important too and you don't have to accept someone treating you like that.

i still feel anxious and been overwhelm yesturday when was beer festival in different town . again with my parents and older sister & her boyfriend but did ended leaving . i don't feel like i fit in no matter who i with and is same with both of my parents and as well of my older sister . i feel more heard over here then bother with my parents or my older sister since i know they can't get what i want from them with emotion .
