@Rachel_Scope yes this morning at 10 ish, it's not heart failure but some oddities require further investigations in 2026. he'll phone mum tomorrow and put me on a couple of things over Christmas to control the symptoms, hoping that mums heart failure will be reversed with this ablation on 18th then she can have the kidney transplant next year.

@Strawberry1 Absolutely no thanks required it's always an absolute pleasure to spend time talking to you, I'm trying to deal with my anxiety and stress within my limited ability to do so

And this lovely post is the proof that you are NOT the problem.

I am ok honestly I'm used to it all, I'll just be happy if mum can get a normal life back thankfully if they get it right hers is reversible the type of heart failure and the kidney failure. I am just paranoid after the cardiac arrest on last attempt, but they'll sort the heart first and be sure this time before she goes back for another try with the transplant.

I'm so glad it's not heart failure @Nightcity. I hope they're able to control the symptoms whilst you wait for more tests. I really hope your mum's ablation goes well. How long will she need to stay in hospital afterwards?

    Thanks Rachel

it's a day procedure so she should be home same day, then we just have to hope it works, they stated that the cardiac arrest during march original transplant attempt was caused by atrial fibrillation speeding the pulse to insane levels and it just stopped beating. apparently it's so rare even the surgeon was shocked, so the ablations desired goal is to eliminate the AF completely, if that's successful the heart failure caused by it will start improving possibly also fully resolve THEN she can go back for kidney transplant without any risk of a reoccurrence.

Oh that's great that it's a same day procedure! The cardiac arrest must have been so scary. I really hope it's all successful so she can then have a kidney transplant.

    evening everyone

exhausted today to say the least, I took my Anti Depressants last night as normal, however my Insomnia decided it wanted to hello and I didn’t manage to get to bed or to sleep until 6 this morning, then woke up just after 9 and had to have a kip of the sofa this afternoon. Just struggling mentally at the moment and finding it hard to judge myself or see where I fit into the world. I’ve been told if I want an advocate I would have to have a needs assessment done by Social Services which is yet another case of me having to fight my corner to get my voice heard. Anyhow I am gonna close down for the night and just watch some tv before an early night.

    Hey.

Regarding tests I got the results this morning some abnormalities showed up and he wants it looked into, but I've been ruled out for renal, liver and heart failure as well as thyroid, arthritis. I don't think he knows as we expected one of the latter two and he seems worried about levels of this and that and it not being attributed to the things it would usually be

    sorry you've had a scare 💛

regarding the radio station 60s-now mainly focusing on forgotten songs over common ones but both. of you type TVGR radio into Google you'll find it and ways of listening.

swelling mostly hands, feet, abdomen that's why all the things that usually cause it have been tested and ruled out. lightheadedness, headaches blurred vision.

he'll prescribe something to try get rid of it tomorrow as furosemide didn't touch it even at 120mg, something odds going on even he said that. I think that phrase makes me MORE worried rather than less

I wish all the best for you and your mum, and will pass on the healing energy that many have given me. I'm glad your bloods didn't show heart failure you must be relieved.

I'm going to be as positive as possible now, and put good energy out there so 2026 turns out to be a better year, not only for me but for everyone facing challenges at the moment.

    Take care of yourself.
