Good morning, Chris. That's crazy heavy equipment but I bet you won't tip over. ๐ My scooter is 55 kg, and comes apart into 4 pieces. It's the only device I have that can carry anything. So I love it for shopping and bombing around the city centre. I have two walkers. One is very sturdy, made of steel, and is about 8 kg. The other is carbon fiber and weighs about 5 kg. Each one has a purpose, and I feel very fortunate to have so many options. (Of course I would feel even more fortunate if I could walk LOL!)

Flying saucer @StarryEyed! Not quite, alien maybe!โฆ

It's a Diatom (1250x magnification) that I found in an old mop bucket goo which I keep in a Petri dish on my hobby room window sillโฆ

That's so cool! Awesome! I missed the fine print that showed the magnification. I've always wanted to do microscope photography. What equipment do you use?
Have you seen the spectacular National Geographic series "One Strange Rock?" They talk about diatoms, and they're really quite remarkable, showing strength in numbers ๐

@Chris75_ I forgot I've also got a pushable manual wheelchair but haven't used it yet. It's in case I can't go somewhere on my own, for someone to push me.

Another puzzle I'm trying to solve, in the second picture is how far I can get, just two pieces need to be swapped with each other, but when I swap them it causes another two pieces to then be swapped, and so on, so I can never get it fully solved, I'll have to look for a solution online.

I have had a soft drink in the Famous Star Hotel.โฆ ๐น It found its fame as the Worldโs Narrowest Hotel as mentioned in the Guinness Book of Records - At only 20ft wide and 162ft long, The Famous Star Hotel is in Moffat, Scotland. Very quaint, the bar was excellent, but not many could stand at it.....

I was driving and I can"t just have a half..... Half a gallon more like....

Correct... Never been able to have just one pint...

I used to be the same, it's like I have one drink and the party has only just begun, there's no way I just want to stop there, doing so would ruin my mood.

Yes, that is me, I can control it at times, but I decided to have a soft drink that day.

You're right! I looked yours up. It's just gorgeous. I can't go far on a walker because it hurts my feet, back and shoulders. So it's just for short distances. It's ideal for taking the bus because it's so light and compact, so I can sit on practically any seat on the bus (not just disabled), and it's easy to get on and off the bus. It's also great to pop into a car. If I could go longer, I'd definitely be interested in your walker. I still haven't figured out how to get into nature. It's heartbreaking to see their video of your walker, going out and about in nature. So you don't use your walker outdoors anymore?

Are you able to drive a car? Are you able to get out to nature? I've been really thinking about getting my driver's licence even though I mentioned it as just a pie in the sky earlier in this thread. I think it's exactly what I need especially now with my immobility. So I'm dreaming now of that.

I couldn't afford one either. Yeah, they're crazy expensive. It doesn't make sense anyway living in the city. I'm thinking of driving the car of friends or family or a rental. Just once in a while to help with this horrible feeling (and reality) of being trapped in my body and my environment.
Good to hear you're near nature. It's the best soul food!

For anyone who needs a bit of cheering up (like I did in the weekend):

It's my birthday today, I'm drinking some wine and eating some party food.
I had also been to the doctors today, he's going to help me get an ADHD assessment.

I use a Leitz Dialux 20 (modified) microscope with a 5MP Toupcam CMOS microscope camera.
