    Being a black sheep of the family makes you feel a bit isolated but then I reminded myself of a time many years ago when another family member also one who was classed as a black sheep actually came to help me with something.

    All the time being slated by other members of the family

    Them seeing no good in him

    There he was helping me .

    Just shows we can be slated by those close to us

    Yet the ones who are the black sheeps dont do that

    They help each other .

    I will never forget the kindness they gave that day .

    I never said anything bad about them it was others that did .

    I think basically what Im trying to say is just because we are classed as black sheep by family it doesnt mean they are right about us

    Hi Strawberry,

    Wise words. It doesn't mean they are right at all. My mum found fault with most people; family members, neighbours, teachers, schoolfriends, perfectly nice people. Contempt breeds contempt and some people never learn to think for themselves.
