    I know the feeling about being asked questions. We nursed my granny at the end of her life and she'd often ask things. When she asked "do you think I'll be able to get out of bed soon?" I couldn't bring myself to lie, but didn't have the heart to tell the truth. I found I started giving non-committal answers. When she was near the end and asked if she'd feel better, I answered that "the pain will get better". That still kind of haunts me because it seemed to give her peace of mind, but I knew exactly what I meant

    What kind of years were you a nurse? My mum was a nurse, in the 80s… she was a midwife, though! 😊

    I was a nurse from 2000 until 2020.

    That's cool! My mum was a nurse from about 1985 to 1995 ☺️
