Does anyone else ever feel like they don’t matter or are insignificant?
Right now I am reading an autobiography of a female author and translator, and… just wow… she’s been traveling, writes about talking to others about life, she is often at sea or cycling through the woods. All that freedom, creativity, it really gets to me today while I have nothing special going on.
Yesterday around this time a toddler was walking a few meters behind its parent coming back from childcare. I was knitting on the sofa and when she saw me she waved. I waved back and she quickly got out of sight, giggling. She came back twice to wave and disappear, sounding giddy! It was so cute, it doesn’t get any better than that. But today? No highlight at all.

This is the first day all year so far where we haven't had a single of rain!! And the sky is blue, I hope I haven't jinkxed it now🤣

Being willing to try is such a massive step @Katiedimelow20 and you did it! Hopefully because now you've done it once, it'll get easier each time you go on. Proud of you!!
Every so often a thought like that does come across my mind if we're being honest @SmellyBin. Especially if I look at public figures or celebrities of a similar age to me who I admire and have done absolutely amazing work but i try to remind myself that comparison is the thief of joy. Its rained most of the day here but its been fairly mild.
I took a stroll along the sea front and I really struggled I because I can't walk far and I am exhausted from health issues and lack of sleep, but it was so quiet just how I like it but that will soon change when the tourist season starts.
I' m going to be watching the soaps on tele later and sipping non alcoholic pink gin.

anyway i am laid down in bed under my duvet…it is cold…..
i hope to be ok for tomorrow but i am really scared about the future.. it is better not to read the papers or the news on the telly but it is scary. the system do not want sick people on benefits.. i feel they will attack us in one way or another. anyway i rather try to relax. but future is uncertain.. i will watch a couple of films and time to go to bed.

@Mary_Scope you did kind make a pun with typing in about taking the first step and escalator are moving stairs . also i been playing splatoon 3 and is been fun . is has been raining most of the day

I got up late as I never slept again last night.
We had a power cut in our area but its been resolved now.
