Good afternoon all.
I went to a doctor appointment this morning.
It was so cold outside and the wind cut right through me.
I was so exhausted from lack of sleep and health issues, I laid in my bed all afternoon.
I was so warm and comfy and I managed to stay awake.
I hope your day has been the best it could be and wishing you all a pleasant evening.

Good morning all.
I managed to get some much needed sleep last night.
I have my hair dresser coming to give me a trim later.
I hope you all manage to have the best day you can and take care.

My OT arranged for an automatic opening front door, and it was installed over the last 2 days.
Having a remote control is a real help, but not great when it opens in the middle of the night unasked. I noticed straight away, as my bed is in the living room, close to the front door. ๐จ

Blimey! ๐๏ธ Did you hit the remote in your sleep or is it gremlins? I'd be giving them a call today. You can't have that happening!

It hasn't happened again, and I can turn the system off during the night. I wonder what my contents insurance provider will think about just a Yale night latch on my front door?
I have been told not to use the door handle and deadbolts any more. They jammed a screw in the door latch housing, so they won't operate.

That is brilliant news, @SoapySoutar, I'm so pleased for you, it really is a life changer. ๐Not if it opens on its own though, that's not the change that's needed! ๐ฑ Mine hasn't done that, well, not that I'm aware of. ๐ค
With mine, they took out the doorframe & made a new one, as it had to be lowered so they could put the mechanics & arm above. Anyway, I very happy yours has now been electrified!

Thanks Jessie, it will make a big difference.

Hi @SoapySoutar great news you have had the door fitted, not great you have a gremlin that opens it in the middle of the night.
Perhaps whoever fitted the door can come back and check it over for you.
Take care.

It's going good, rebuilt two beds. Now burning garden rubbish in the bin up the garden because we can where we live.๐

I will probably wake up in the early hours of Sunday morning, with a crowd looking for more beer. There will be not a drop by then of course. ๐

I had a third blood test up at the Doctor's last week, as far as I know they've not been in touch yet with the results so they've probably lost it en route to the Lab, again! I wouldn't mind but this'd be the SECOND time it's happened! Are the NHS really this incompetent or do they just enjoy being as annoying as humanly possible? Smh.

I think blood testing is outsourced now.

Like everything else, flippin' typical.
