Another Donald Trump assassination attempt

Unfortunately I can't get into big discussion or arguments or I get slow posted..But I do believe that where there's smoke there's fire, and there certaily was fire at this incident. I mean by fire, shots were fired and I wouldn't have thought you could dismiss that. But everyone believes what they want, it's a free country up to now.
But I suppose that could change any minute now. This is probably the fourth attempt on his life and I should think that people aren't going throw away thirty years of their life by staging an hoax. But this is only my opinion and everyone has their right to put theirs forward too. But if this last attempt by a lone gunman ends with an excecution or jail time, will all of come back here and say, yep, we were wrong?.

I seem to remember Albus used to say we should fact check before posting, what happened to that?
It's true, everyone has the right to an opinion, but it's only to be expected that fantastical, evidence free claims are questioned; indeed in real life one would be open to derision for such assertions.
If I said the Loch Ness Monster was in fact real, I probably should have some pretty solid evidence.
All I can say on the matter in question, is that we literally had a ballroom/conference hall full of journalists. Are they all in on the hoax, including the man who might now spend the rest of his life in prison?

You have both made me go into stitches. Could have been a serious debate but hey!! Here we are 😅😃😁.

Did you see RFK getting hurried away in a scrum of Secret Service, whilst his wife was left to fend for herself? Even the awful Stephen Miller protected his wife! 🤔

You do realise that the gunman in question didn't get that far/not past the lobby?? So, no reason why the 'journalists' would be in on any 'hoax'... yes??.
Btw, they'd only had their starter, guess they were hoping fir their main course. Fact.

Don't leave me this way, SwiftFox. Have a look John Stewart's latest offering of what went down at the awards ceremony. I enjoyed it earlier.

With respect mate, contrary to popular belief we are NOT the 51st State of America, and even over there, freedom of speech under the third Amendment only goes so far, there's still stuff that can't be said because certain groups don't like it.

I thought the guy eating his salad was quite amusing. He said being from New York, he wasn't scared, and just wanted to watch.

The original question posed was could the assination attempt have been staged? I guess....yes it could. How do I know? Well, I wasn't their, I don't have 'it's' ear so I don't know. Neither do any of the rest of you. I maintain, it's anyone's guess.... let's keep it civil otherwise the debate, for what it's worth, gets closed down, as per usual, as it seems difficult for anyone to keep well mannered and avoid personal criticism of others. What the Loch Ness monsters got to do with it.... that's what made me in stitches.
I reiterate, no 'proof' is needed - and none is forthcoming on either side. Come on guys, there can be many thoughts on it without vitriol being a part of the debate. Unless of course, no-one really wants to debate it, in which case sure, close it down. Time will tell.
