Why do you keep posting scaremongering nonsense!
@Community_Scope this needs to be stopped!

@ohmylonesome those words came out of Nigel Farage’s mouth in an interview. He posted it on his X too and in many other places. I’m non scaremongering I’m telling the truth. You can look it up for yourself and see. Reform is not hiding that they plan to cut benefits. Look it up for yourself. It’s only fair to let people know.

There is no need to post this rubbish on here, all it does is wind people up and cause arguments then the discussion gets closed and members get warned!
Read the rubbish if you want and keep it to yourself instead of putting it on here!

I agree with you plus Reform aren't the only political party who intend to massively reduce the benefits spending bill but @LIVEDANDLEARNED
only seems to post about Reform, rather than giving an accurate balance of what the other political parties intend to do.
I'm sure most people voting today have already made their minds up who to vote for and don't need reference to a newspaper article ie, the Express referred to above to influence their decision.

@onmylonesome first of all it is you who is being aggressive on here, no one else. Politics affects everyone and certainly those claiming benefits. Hiding from what’s going on doesn’t make it go away. People need to know what Governments plans are, particularly when you’re disable as what they say affects us financially & physically. Many people have shared articles on here which I’ve read and found beneficial and interesting. You can just scroll past. You are not the voice for this whole forum. Just scroll past. Nothing I’ve said is untrue, I’ve heard it with my own ears directly from the politician himself. Good day to you.

It is just not very balanced always quoting one party.
We live in a democracy and people can vote how they like.

Aren't people are being pretty harsh here? It's a link to a news article quoting an MP. He's not telling anyone who to vote for, not even shared his opinion on it.
You can make your own minds up.
It's not scaremongering to share what's actually getting said and not his job to share about all parties or be balanced, he's allowed an opinion even if you don't agree with it.
Can't everyone share their own with links to articles about other MPs if they want balance, why is it his job to?

I for one am grateful to know who the Reform voters are on here 😏

STOP PROMOTING THIS MAN AND HIS 'PARTY' ON THIS PLATFORM !!!
HE DOES NOT NEED FREE PUBLICITY !!!
WE KNOW WHERE TO READ ABOUT HIM IF WE NEED TO WHICH WE DON'T !!!

Unfortunately it's not just one thread and one link. It's pretty much a daily occurrence. And always with a capitalised title.
I can't imagine anyone on here thinks this party were ever going to increase benefits.

Its harsh that @onmylonesome has been accused of being 'agressive' for expressing an opinion and that appears to be an attempt at ridiculing him.
During the past week various threads have been posted regarding Reform rather than keeping it in one thread and it has become repetive, caused some members anxiety and arguments have occurred causing bad feeling.
It hasn't resulted in an environment where positive balanced debate has occurred and the repetitive posting about one political party's intentions has indeed indicated the persons opinion on the subject an attempt at influencing others to agree and as such it's not unreasonable to expect that person to present a more balanced view where other members may feel able to contribute in a safe enviroment without feeling ridiculed and threads being closed by moderators as a result.

I feel reassured that it isn't just me who recognises what a terrible danger the Reform Party poses to all of us, not just those on benefits. My daughter for example would lose her right to have reasonable adjustments at work if they scrap the equalities act as they say they plan to. If someone is taking it upon themselves to remind us all of the danger I say thank you, and keep it up. I do not want to live in USA 2.0.

I don’t every listen to scaremongering posts all party’s can say what they like but whether they can do it is another question let’s face it if you unfortunately have a progressive life long illness with NHS consultants letters stating your terrible illness there is no political party in this land who will dare to force you to work there are high courts and human rights in this country to protect the severely disabled people so if your able enough to work try it but if your severely disabled than you CANT it’s so simple to understand thank you reading and stop scaring people in here some people should be banned simple isn’t it

Face it, Reform is scary for people with disabilities. They want to take away our ability to live decent lives and they want to deport the people who care for us just as they already prevented lots of carers from coming to the UK by implementing Brexit. They caused the small boats with Brexit and now they justify themselves with those small boats. They are frightening.
