Hi, Anhedonia2, when I first discovered liminal spaces some of them made me feel uneasy myself, especially heaven's interiors, I'd kind of actually feel disturbed by some of those, but the more I've looked at them the more I've got desensitised, to the point now where even if I can recognise one of these images as having a very disturbing look to it it doesn't have a negative effect on me at all and I can just enjoy the fascination and weirdness of it instead.

Looking at some of the Liminal Spaces I fail to see how anyone could be disturbed by it. Maybe that's just me. Now I've seen a few photo's on Facebook where you are looking at say an empty room and an animated person suddenly appears and makes you jump cos you aren't expecting it lol. It's a bit like the Attraction on the sea front at Scarborough you walk through a dark bit and all of a sudden a man with a weapon jumps out at you. Now that is freaky lol. It certainly Freaked me and my then GF out I don't mind telling you lol.

I think for me, it's because I have a very active imagination 😆 I've looked through a few pages of them now and most haven't had any impact, but that last one with the chair makes me really uncomfortable.

That's an interesting point, I think it's possible to get desensitised to almost anything. Do you have any that still impact you?

@StarryEyed they're really interesting! I'd take the darker purple drink and I'm intrigued by the apple. I can imagine it having a surprising consistency and being quite sweet. I'm also wondering what the pills would do @Ross1975.

I like the idea of it being your imagination that affects how you feel about liminal spaces @Anhedonia2. I'd have to agree. My mind starts racing at what could be just out of frame or what kind of things might occur there and who's in control. They'd work wonderfully for short stories!

I don't think there are any liminal spaces that impact me in a negative way anymore, but there are still some heaven's interiors/roomholes that will impact me negatively, I guess I just haven't looked at them enough to become fully desensitised to them.

@Ross1975 and @Rachel_Scope, I think for the liminal appetizer with the cookies and pills, you can make the pills whatever you want them to be. For me, they're antipsychotics 😁 Normal is my favourite frame of mind, a lofty goal. Very lofty! 😁

How about we add some merchandise in our mall? I'm thinking Ross' idea is a good one - in front of the mirrors. How about clothes and shoes on the left side, and bags and jewellery on the right side? Sound good? Any ideas as to what to showcase?

StarryEyed, maybe the goods could look like this? Strangely very familiar but it's difficult make out exactly what anything is. We've got stuff that at least to me kind of looks like it could be cuddly toys, bags, coloured plastic wrapping, beauty products, and jewellery on display things?

What do you guys see?

So I'm having fun in working on three sets of posters. The idea is we can cast votes on each set. Vote for as many as you like, and we'll choose the poster with the most votes. Anyone can also put in their own ideas, of course.

The three sets are:

1. Main poster for the mall, for the general vibe of the mall.

2. Poster for the right mirrored wall by the bags and jewellery.

3. Poster for the left mirrored wall by the shoes and clothes.
