    It was hard to be impressed with England last night. It really was a meaningless game and everything that came before it strongly suggests to me that they would have been beaten last night if it had been a proper game. They were really poor at this World Cup and have wasted a genuine opportunity to win something. They had a very easy pathway which they made look really difficult and they were probably fortunate to reach the semi-final playing the way they did. I’ve given up on them for good now, the way they performed in the second half against Argentina was really really poor

    I'm drained after that. Argentina deserve to lose. They are a set of dirty players. They were the same with England always fouling. Well done Spain a well deserved victory.

    Really I don't care who wins, as im not a sports fan. What I've enjoyed is seeing the world come together over this. We really need this.

    I actually went to bed at 10 pm last night, as I couldn't bear to watch any more of the match! I am very glad I hadn't paid thousands of dollars for a ticket to see that. Argentina are very unedifying.

    On the plus side, I didn't find out that Spain had won until the 7 am radio news this morning - hurrah! That’s a nice way to wake up on a Monday morning! πŸŒ„

    I am now going to read through all the match reports and find out what I missed, not a lot by what I've read so far. Except for Trump and Infantino being booed a lot, also very welcome news!
