    What a game. France were rubbish in the first half omg they came alive in the 2nd half and I really was on the edge of my seat. 6-4 is some score. Danbelle has stolen the golden boot off Messi. Messi needs a hatrick tomorrow night to claim it back. Hopefully Spain will put a dampener on that.

    It's over to the Ladies now to win the play offs in October and November and advance to the world up next summer. If I know Selina Weigman she will make sure she has the right players on the pitch and when changes are needed she will make exactly the right decison unlike Tucel did in the Semi's. Tucel thought he was making the right choices but sadly it wasn't to be. I dare some fans might want rid of him but it's only his first attempt in large tournaments so I say leave him be and see how he gets on in the other big tournaments like the Euro's. At least the lads can have a bit of an unwinding session before flying in to action with their respective clubs in 4 weeks time. Well done lads you gave it your best shot there's no shame in that.

    It was hard to be impressed with England last night. It really was a meaningless game and everything that came before it strongly suggests to me that they would have been beaten last night if it had been a proper game. They were really poor at this World Cup and have wasted a genuine opportunity to win something. They had a very easy pathway which they made look really difficult and they were probably fortunate to reach the semi-final playing the way they did. Iโ€™ve given up on them for good now, the way they performed in the second half against Argentina was really really poor
