Good morning all!
Quite humid here this morning, it feels like you can sense the rain in the air!
Sound like a nice day @Johnboy412000 😊
Hope you're all having a good day!1 -
Started the day with the gym, grabbed some breakfast and then nearly missed the bus 😅 I was running on empty for most of the day, but after sitting down with a good book for a while, I somehow felt lively again. Funny how quickly a quiet bit of reading can turn the day around.

Sounds like a really productive morning @prestencollin! What are you reading at the moment?
You may enjoy our reading discussion where we talk all things books, authors and share recommendations😊1 -
@Mary_Scope Thanks! ☺️ I’ve just started getting back into reading and I’m currently reading A Man Called Ove. Really enjoying it so far.

So the summer where you live is over too? I got soaked 2 nights in a row, wheeling out 👨🦼with my dog, Gus. I also am back up to 5 upper body layers and 3 lower layers. The 2 pairs of socks never changes all year.

I haven't heard of that book before @prestencollin, what's it about?
I think we're going to have a big thunderstorm here too if this weather is anything to go by @DancingFlame. No rain here yet today but my friend who lives about 20 minutes from me sent me a video of the rain there and it's absolutely pouring!
I bet Gus is relieved he can go out again now the weather has cooled down @ChrisR777! Is he alright in the rain? My dog hates it😅. I think we're on the cusp of summer being over here too now.0 -
I don't think Gus enjoys rain, and my scooter or powerchair certainly aren't happy about it; for that reason, I will only go out in light rain, or if it's threatening to rain. Many a walk have been aborted when the rain starts.
Before I used any electrical mobility aids, I went out with him no matter the weather.

Good morning everyone. Chilly start here and no rain. Looking out of my window my plants have relished the rain cos they seem to have put a spurt on. Trip to Keighley this morning via Huddersfield and Bradford assuming the X63 isn't rammed lol. I hate full buses. Hoping to come back via the scenic route to Halifax if there is a bus due when I'm ready to depart keighley.. They run every hour and I think they pass through Bronte Country. One place I have been many times in the past and seen the Parsonage etc. Maybe one day I'll get back there. Maybe also one day ride the worth valley Steam train to Oxenhope from Keighley that's one for the summer time though. Have a great day everyone and take care.

Morning everyone ☺️ we had a pitiful spattering of rain last night, but no where near enough to water the plants. Hopefully there's more on the way. I've been enjoying the cooler temperatures anyway!
That sounds like a nice trip to plan @Johnboy412000. I've been to Haworth a couple of times to see the Bronte Parsonage. It's a lovely area to wander around, I hope you manage to get back there one day. The Steam Train sounds fun too! Have you been on it before or would it be the first time?
That's a bit chilly @Amberpearl! Funny how quickly the weather can turn.

Same muck different day, wake up, watch tv, eat, go to bed - rinse and repeat each day. Just given up fighting now, accepting things as they are, that nothing will ever change. I honestly don’t care about myself, I mean what is the point anymore. I have no quality of life, so there is no point improving on that. Going to keep myself isolated behind closed doors, only venturing out for medical appointments. I am just going to keep going as I do each month, eating very little each day alongside having take aways that are not good for my body. I am just a failure and an embarrassment to those that I have lost in my life, I can see why my parents didn’t love me or want me, I am a horrible, unkind, unjust and lowest of the low person.

We had rain forecast but it was just a little shower and it was 20 degrees sunshine.
I did a bit of grocery shopping and then had a restful day at home.
I would like to have gone out but I was too exhausted from lack of sleep.

Morning everyone! Has anyone got any plans today?
It's a bit chilly here too @Bluebell21. I must say it's quite nice to wear some cosy clothes.

@Rosie_Scope Thanks. It was a nice ride back to Halifax passing through so beautiful countryside unspoilt. Got stuck in a bit of traffic when we reached Cullingworth but once cleared driver put his foot down through the beautiful countryside. I've been on the Worth Valley trains a few times in the past. It's lovely. have also driven to such as Haworth and all the stations along the route. I'd hate to want to live there though it will be pretty bleak in the winter.

Start of the new premiership season today. it's the 2nd day for our lads and we need to overcome MK Dons and take back the top spot from Bradford.
