I feel lost and alone at the moment, lots of pain and trapped in my body. I wanted to be totally honest in this group as too often I say "I'm fine how are you"

Hello @eledrial, and welcome to the community.
Yes, we're all inclined to say "I'm fine" when somebody asks "How are you", and one of the important things about this community is that you are free to speak exactly what you feel. You are among friends here - As @Ami2301 has demonstrated already
Have a look around, as Ami suggests, and get back to us with any more information you wish to share or to ask any questions you might wish to. We're here and we're listening, and you matter.
Warmest best wishes,
Richard -
hi eledrial and welcome
Went to my GP today
she asked "how are you " ?
my reply " i am fine thanks"
then went on to tell her about my problems
We are all pre conditioned to that response

Be all you can be, make every day count. Namaste -
Welcome to the community @eledrial
I'm sorry to hear that you're having a tough time, but thank you for sharing with us. Pressure to act "fine", when we're not, can be an issue when support might be needed.
I hope you'll feel comfortable and safe to be open about how you feel here, and let us know if you would like any support or even just a chat!
