Adapted housing/house mate wanted anyone been in a similar situation or know of services ?

This might be worth a try:
1) Go to
2) On the dropdown that says "property for sale" select "flatshare" instead
3) In the box that says "search by neighbourhood.." type "wheelchair" (I tried putting "accessible" and "adapted" as alternatives but "wheelchair" was the best search term for finding adapted properties).
Obviously there are other property agents available, this is just the one I am familiar with.
I wonder if the staff Accessible Property Register might be able to offer some advice:

If you have an interest in networking with disabled professionals you could consider becoming a member of the Association of Disabled Professionals:
