When it's Locozade fit water with four key elements.
Seriously, I just grabbed it because it looked like a bottle of water.
If this stuff really is necessary it needs selling at the gym, not to the general public that are simply thirsty and forget their own bottle of tap water.

How are people meant to see all these labels.

Ps it contains 6 calories, not exactly going to get me round the marathon is it.  :)
Pps it didn't taste nice either, I could taste a slight metallic taste. Yuk.

    Thanks for the tip-off @whistles.
I agree the bottles do all look very similar.

Hello @whistles welcome to the wonderful world of shopping and packets and bottles all that.

This has been a bane of my life.  All the same shape and design.  Really too much.

Becoming like well I know what I want but you end up picking the wrong item.  There must be trademark infringements here surely.

Beside if that is the fault of the lay out of the store.  You must understand as soon you go into any store they want you to spend money.  Money you have not got.

Next time pause and ponder why are vegetables fruit first when you arrive?

Stops you from going quickly slows you down.  Around the store

Breakfast items all over the store not next to each other.  Eggs at the back yoghurt and milk.

Because they will have you passing food items you have not got but buy anyway.

Put BOGOF at the end of each aisles.

To spend more on more than one item and make the buyer thinks he is getting a good deal.

All bargains and items that are essential on the left of all counters and aisles.

Essential items most people are right handed.  So colourful items you might not need are put on the left of aisles.  To attract customers who walk into a store and look left.

Items that look the same next to each other.

This to make sure you buy the most expensive one.  Not theirs to confuse you.  Also you might buy theirs as well instead of the most expensive.  It is a counter measure.

Same with sweets chocolate and health foods snacks near the checkout to bamboozle you more.  To buy more.  People fascinate me when shopping you watch next time.

I have aware of what the supermarkets been doing a long time.

I did a course in budgeting run by a money charity.  Included marketing and how to spend money wisely.

We all do it.  So just be careful.  Always have a list.  Never go with out one.  Spend more.  Have a budget and stick to it.

Take care Hope any of this helps.

I know about the turning left. Which is why I was puzzled that they encourage you right it straight on.
I understand lost leaders by the door/ advertising to get you in the shop in the first place.

People watching is a thing of mine. They claim you can tell a lot from a person by their shopping.
Today's just said pillock. The bottle actually did look like another brand that I have used before.
Take a good look at how many types of water they try and sell us, it's all wet when I last checked. I do take my own water and I forgot today.

I wonder if not being able to cook saves me money in a strange way. Yes expensive to buy pre prepared but I don't get tempted by what I can prepare.

I ignore everything by the till.

That's why they blow freshly baked bread around the store to comfort you and calm you make you hungry. My tip is, don't go shopping on an empty stomach otherwise you'll buy food just to satisfy your appitte.

Hello @whistles Thank you for comments and observations.

The marketing ploys of supermarkets are now for me a interesting debate.  Always fascinates me.

Favourite story I go in with a list.  My friend at the time went empty handed.  Guess who spent the most he did.

By the way please can I suggest sit at home plan your meals for the week.

Buy the ingredients for each dish.. Have them on your shopping list and stick to it.

Understand this is what they do in the markets of Spain Italy and France.

Start with meat first or fish and remember to try to work out a meal plan.  Need average probably two meals  a day.

I know lets say buy those packs of Chicken Thighs have average of Six thighs so that is two thighs per person.  If you are single gentleman like my self.

So that is three meals.  Nearly half the week.  Then another pack of meat or fish, on and on   Buy vegetables for that week.  To go with your menu for the week.

Also remember a lot of meat packs can last and be made to go over into next week.  So bear that in mind.

Remember also to include two veggie in the Menu for the week.

Remember to use freezer and tumble downs.  Chef call that for meals from one recipe into another, like Sunday Roast.  Left over Minestrone Soup and freeze some.

    Some more Spiceman tips.

    Hope you are OK

I can't cook, safety, concentration, etc. So it's ready meal or nothing.
My meal choices are that shelf or that shelf depending on the store.
    Or take aways.

Hello @whistles   I can understand all that.. I am disabled my self and do find problems with concentration.  Have my mental problems.   Also hands and fingers and motobility.  Standing a long time, dicing chopping.

I had to learn to cook because I knew if I did not.  Understand had to make sensible lifestyle choices.

Started off small steps.  Simple stuff.

Who says cooking is unsafe. So I have devised a menu to help me.  Cope with my disability..   The kitchen is unsafe if you wish it to be.  That is your choice your life your money.

I have a range of tools and gadgets to help myself.  Such as blenders, food processor, mini choppers.  Understand this I use knives but you take care, be sensible.  Have cloths tea towels for lids and pans.

    Use slow cookers.

All I am saying the choices you give yourself is limited.  Plus the unnecessary expense.

Cookers and especially ones with hobs are OK.  You do not need a oven to cook.  Even a microwave with a lot off common sense can be used safely.

I also have problems with lifting pans and pots.  Yet I can do lovely meals for my self.  I have answers for lot of my solutions I need to know.

Also have had friends wide spectrum of the disability community teach them a few tricks and tips.  Planning menus for them and planning coping methods.  Think of this you reward yourself mentally.

I did a soup today well that is a fiver for me.  Done pasta great another fiver to me.  Well done Spiceman.

If I can by the way success comes in cans not can nots.  I was taught that by a guy who taught me lots of little tips and tricks to get food on the table cost nothing  He is disabled himself and came from a Italian background.

If he can do it so could I myself.  Also there are associations like the well being services that now offer courses to those who wish to look at their well being and health.  Many are cooking but not what you think.

On the road to inspiration.  Please if you wish.  How can I inspire you to make something you would be proud of.

Have you seen my posts on recipes.  Have a look.  As I say I never ever bought ready meals .  Dangerous for your health.  Too much salt, fat and sugar.

You are friends with @Victoriad . Both of us have loads of ideas and tips and tricks cooking.  Very few recipes do actually involve actual heat and the application of.  Especially the food of the Med and it is simple to do.

Understand me.  I am passionate and wish to inspire others.

Please think about your health.  I had been there.

    Take care

Agreed you don't need an oven. I think I have used it once maybe twice. In my whole life.
In fact these days you don't actually need a cooker or a kitchen.

But depending on your condition though thespiceman the kitchen is an unsafe place.
It wouldn't take long for me to set fire to it. Thanks for your suggestions though, one day I might cook again.

@whistles my friend has nothing wrong with her and she has set fire to her kitchen more than a dozen times over the years, personally I think she has a thing for firemen lol She can not cook, I have seen things burned on the outside whilst frozen in the middle and the temp has not been too high I just don't know how she can accomlpish such feats lol.

I actually thought when I first open this up you were going to say when its ice or steam, so it threw me a bit hahaha.

I dont buy bottled water, I take a reusable bottle from my house with me. seriously payign for water in a country that never stops raining is nuts but the amount of plastic that can not be recycled and goes to landfill breaks my heart.

@fishingmum, I only buy bottled unflavoured water, Asda is less than £1 for 8 litres, because my tap water doesn’t taste good, metal taste. Surprised because Scottish waters the best  :).
I totally agree about plastic, my green recycling bin is always full, fruit, veg, etc basically everything you get at supermarket are covered in plastic. There’s no need for it.

    @fishingmum
maybe it is the pipes, my flat 130 years old.
I wasn’t sure who to call about the taste and if they could test it. I’m sure it’s ok to drink but I’m not risking it.
Oh I didn’t know Scottish Water delivers bottled water if the water was a problem.
I will put this on my to do list, I’m sure my son will push me to call them, saves him lifting heavy bottles up the stairs. Thanks for the information

    P.s.
If it’s the pipes I would need to replace them unfortunately , I’m not in council accommodation.
