Hi, I'm Suzie and am struggling with mental health conditions (anxiety and depression). I have been struggling with the benefits system since it is so complex, and could really do with some support/advice from people in a similar position to me. Hoping to hear from you.

Hi @Suzie93 and a warm welcome to the community!
Sorry to hear you are struggling, but we are here to help.
Here is the Scope's website about benefit advice: https://www.scope.org.uk/support/disabled-people/benefits/advice
Also, you may want to look at the PIP self test which could indicate if you were eligible for that benefit. However, this is only a guide.
There are many people on the community who come here for advice on benefits so you may be interested in the PIP, DLA and AA board or there is the ESA board. Similarly, you may benefit from posting something on the 'what benefits am I entitled to?' section.
Similarly, in terms of finding a supporting community around managing your mental health difficulties there are boards where people in your same position share advice
I hope you find the community a supportive place and are able to get the advice and support that you would like. Please feel free to have a look around and get involved with any discussions (or even start your own!).
Please let me know if you need anythingScope
