Would you mind telling us a bit more about yourself?
In, my forties, been diagnosed with bipolar and arthralgia and getting further tests from rheumatologist - also had a recent MRI showing ischemic lesions on my brain.
Used to be able to walk everywhere and was fitted for two sticks this week and used a scooter for the fist time.
Still having trouble getting used to the way folk treat me, especially with having a blue badge and sticks. Etc
I know how you feel as when I got a Blue Badge and more disabilities became apparent, everyone started treating me different. I'm not different, I'm still the same person I have been all my life, I just can't do certain things anymore. It is very hard to accept this and it does take time.
