in Start here and say hello
Hi
im new to this community. I have several long term conditions such as Lupus, Antiphospholipid syndrome, Osteoarthritis, chronic pain, Thalamic pain syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Degenerative spine , Diabetes, And more. I can’t walk far I don’t have the strength and the pain is too much. However I still work 4 days a week as a mental health psychotherapist. I also love cake decorating and crafts.

    Hi and Happy Xmas to all you wondrous and talented people. I get a bit fed up because I can't contribute: I can't paint a picture or make a model or do anything that you guys seem to do so effortlessly. Yet I like being part of this forum if that is ok with everyone? I have always (until recently) been surrounded by talented people: Musicians, singers, dancers, artistes, actors, writers, you name it. Anyway, Happy Xmas! I hope all will be well for you. Steve X.

    Hello Dawn,

    I'm sorry to hear you have all those problems, good on you for working and battling on! I started with balance/vertigo problems over 20 years ago, and then developed lots of other symptoms, i was told by a neurologist i likely had fibromyalgia but got nowhere with gp's etc, i also got told it was 'possibly' Lupus or even Lyme disease. I work from home luckily, but i know how challenging it can be when symptoms are particularly bad, hope you get something out of being on here, take care.🙂
