Hi @Hollypop from another newbie!
-
Hello, that's what I call my daughter
-
Thank you all for such a warm welcome! It has made it much easier to come on here and see whats going on.
I have had fibromyalgia for about 8 years now, I think it got a grip not long after my husband died ten years ago. I work as a lab technician in a school which I love as I have always been bit of a nerd lol! But it looks like I am about to be retired through ill health because of my condition, I can not do my job anymore sadly, I'm lucky work have been very good to me, but I will miss my job for sure. The frustration of being an independent woman to being one that has to walk slowly with a stick and cant manage physical work is overwhelming and devastating. What gets me most though is that I cant walk my beloved rescue dogs anymore, my son has to do it for me.
Hollypop is the nickname I use for my doggo Holly!

Welcome to the community @Hollypop
Im so sorry to hear you are unable to do your job any more, that must be so tough on you. I understand about walking the dogs too, I have a chronic illness and I have been unable to walk my dogs since June and it devastates me. We always have a Christmas day dog walk and I feel so sad that I wont be able to do it this year.Scope
